I have 2 elder dogs, I have a red heeler mix that's around 15 and an applehead chihuahua that is about the same age and they both had gotten really slow about moving and the red heeler has always been a spunky dog just full of energy but she had began to experience hip pain and would wince and cry out and even fall coming up and down the steps so I started looking for something to give her besides pills from the vet because she hated taking them and they only masked the pain. I ordered these on a whim one day and it was like flipping a switch with them. Mattie began running around again having her zoomies and Izzy has never been one to play but even she began wanting to from time to time.They have had great results and Mattie loves the flavor, Izzy isn't really a fan of the liver flavor but she will eat them anyway to keep any other animals from getting them. Mattie has reverse aged around 5 years and it took no time to begin to see the change in her and for me that's what makes keeping these chews in stock here.

Edit 10/14/2020- We are still thrilled with this product. Berry BooDog thinks the supplements are delicious and she is enjoying obvious pain relief. We did experience a side effect, however. It WAS OUR OWN FAULT. But I wanted to give a warning to others to avoid making the mistake we made. After a couple of weeks I noticed something was off with The Boo. She seemed a bit sluggish and was frequently asking to go outside to do her business. Also, this hoggy doggy was turning her nose up at snacks! I did some fast research and it turns out she was constipated. We had given her too much of the supplement. It was pretty easy to forget this is a supplement and not a snack because she loves them so much. On the label is states you can start out at a certain dose but then lower it and we had not lowered it when we were supposed to. From my research I learned that, while it isn't terribly common, this sort of supplement can cause constipation with higher doses. I also learned that at her size we could give her stool softener. I paired that with foods that would help her to go and it passed quickly. Lesson learned. We were so excited to see her get some relief that we were not as careful as we should have been.As I said this was our own fault and not the fault of the product at all. This is a wonderful product to help with the pain and stiffness Berry has experienced as she has aged. We will continue to purchase this and provide it for her as it has really improved her quality of life.Original review:I am thrilled with this product. Our girl is getting up there and having some problems with pain and we could tell this because she struggled with the stairs. She also struggled getting into her favorite chair that's always been hers. I found this product by searching on Amazon and this is the 1st one I've tried. I expected maybe with see some relief for her after a month maybe a couple of weeks if we were lucky. I was surprised to see our girl coming up the steps much more quickly and seeming much happier within the 1st couple of days! I didn't mention anything and my husband commented on it independently. It's a hands down difference in speed and ability to maneuver that is unmistakable.She loves to eat these and to her they are like a treat when she comes in from outside, so I can give her *medicine* and it's also a yummy treat! These are very competitively priced compared to other products.We are delighted to have have something to helps her pain and stiffness that she also loves and that is very affordable. I highly recommend these to anyone who wants to help their beloved doggie friend with some pain and stiffness issues.

First let me say that this may be the first product I have ever used that blew me away 100%. My little fur lady was starting to have trouble with her back legs. This pain was making it hard for her to jump to the bed, reach her favorite sunny hangout spots, and breakout into those zoomies she loves so much. I found this product and after about a month of giving her these she finally jumped back into the bed a few days ago and I came home to her sitting high in her doggy sun perch. When the dinner bell was rung she came sprinting down the stairs with no pain!! If your dog is experiencing some of those same symptoms I urge you to grab these and watch the transformation!

I ran out of a different brand hip/ joint supplement for my 2 very senior chichis and thought I would give this brand a try. My initial impression was that the product received was definite!y NOT soft. It is tough and a hard chew for my dogs as they have few teeth. I have been cutting the already small product into smaller pieces o that they can simply swallow it. I have not seen any of the side effects mentioned in other reviews. It does seem to help my dogs but I likely will return to my original supplement which is very soft and easier for my dogs to chew and swallow as is.
