This might be the nicest sunscreen, period - mineral or chemical filter-based. Here's what you need to know: ➡️ It feels like silk ➡️ It leaves way less of a white cast than most untinted mineral formulas (but still a definite white cast) ➡️ It dries down quickly to a natural finish. The description says satin, which I guess means not an oil slick but not the Sahara desert like many matte finish sunscreens. ➡️ It plays so nicely with my rosacea, even when it's really aggressively flaring. It makes my skin

I love that it does not smell or feel like sunscreen. It feels more like a moisturizer/cream. I normally hate the smell and the texture of sunscreens, so this is amazing. It does have a very light white cast but it is so light that it almost looks like I have the Dr. Jart color corrector cream or light make up on. It is not sticky at all, so I love to put it all over my neck. I have been just wearing this sunscreen, put light power makeup and call it a day. It has not made me breakout either like most sunscreens do. My favorite sunscreen ever. I hope they never discontinue!!!

This stuff is magical. No white cast (although I do have very fair skin—someone with darker skin might see a slight cast), moisturizing, doesn’t burn my eyes, AND slightly tinted green to counteract my rosacea? Yes please. I don’t feel like I have to wear makeup on top of this, which is SO NICE. Other companies, please take note and make color-correction mineral sunscreens!! The only thing that could make this better would be if it were tinted just a little more green.

I like this sunscreen. It feels very light and comfortable on my face, which is a top concern for me with a mineral sunscreen. It rubs in easily without tugging or pilling, and it doesn’t have much of a smell. My only complaint is that there’s very minimal redness reduction. I was hoping to replace my more expensive redness reducing Dr. Jart product with this one, but it doesn’t do a good enough job of that. I can see how this might have a white cast for folks with darker skin, but I have light skin and didn’t experience that. It does blend very well for a mineral sunscreen, so maybe it would work on darker skin after lots of blending. Overall, very good mineral sunscreen with a light feel and I will likely repurchase.

Ever since developing sensitivities to sone chemical filters, I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect mineral sunscreen. This isn’t it, but it ties with Elta MD UV recovery (the green one) for best so far. It’s a little thicker than the Elta MD, and the green tint isn’t as strong, but it leaves a very similar, barely noticeable (on my light-to-medium skin) white cast. It starts off scary, because it does NOT look like it’s going to blend in, but it sort of melts into the skin once you really start moving it around. The part I don’t care for is that it still makes my face a little shiny, and when I touch my face, I can feel it (I don’t wear anything on top of it — it might be different if you wear makeup). It definitely stays on top of the skin rather than sinking in like chemical filters do. But I’m still giving it 5 stars because I honestly don’t know if a mineral sunscreen that doesn’t do that even exists. And a5 this price, being every bit as good as the $50 stuff is pretty great.
