Why did you pick this product vs others?: Yoto cards are great because they tell a story like the adult audio books and children get to use their imagination and not be glued to a video. Great for all ages.

My son is in love with his yoto box and this story is one of his favorites. The different voices really throw you into this story.

I don’t review items, and this is the first yoto card I purchased. But it’s not for 5 year olds. The language is hard for a kids to understand. Not sure how a child in a city in North America would learn the words acreage or “by the downs”. The first story references Wordsworth. Again not likely in a 5 year olds wheelhouse. I’ll keep if they want to listen as they grow older. Storytelling is fine, audio is clear even the background effects are appropriate. And with the amount of stories would seem a good value. But it’s for older kids, and perhaps for literary parents.

Way too much sophisticated British language for a 5 y.o. The reading pace is also very high. Certainly, not comprehendible for a 5 y.o.

The language is too advanced and difficult to follow for a child. Pretty disappointed.
