Gentle and Soothing — No Foam, No Irritation This gel cleanser is truly gentle. It has a smooth, jelly-like texture and doesn’t foam at all — which actually makes it feel more calming and natural on the skin. It doesn’t irritate, even when I use it around my eyes. I don’t wear makeup, so I can’t say how well it removes it, but as a daily face wash, it leaves my skin feeling fresh and soft.

Lovely texture. I use this in the mornings now on my oily/combo/aging skin as an alternative to a slightly harsher one I use at night. I usually have breakouts if I deviate from my harsher salicylic acid cleaner, but so far that hasn't happened with this and my skin has been feeling clear and moisturised.

Leave it to The Ordinary to come out with a very nice cleanser for a great price. This leaves my skin clean and takes away sunscreen like some others don't. This also doesn't leave my face with a dry, tight feeling. It is a pleasure to use, rinses off with ease and leaves a nice, almost slick feeling. Worth recommending.
