These are so cool! We had to fake some wood grain on a project and we LOVE how it looks. Super realistic appearance. The different options gave us the ability to take turns on each section to make it look like unique grain. Easy to apply and depending what product you use easy to clean.

I am going around my house trying to figure out what else I can paint to make look like wood! I used these for the table top and seat of a child-size table and chairs. We haven’t assembled yet, as I still need to paint the table legs. But I am so impressed. This was so easy too. I did a quick practice round on cardboard (I think I saw this suggested in a comment on here or somewhere… I did lots of research) I painted my table a light color and then when fully dried, I went over with a darker taupe/gray and ran the wood graining tool through it. Then after it dried for 48 hours, I put an antique gel on top to give it a stained wood look. All products used were Heirloom Traditions (if you’re looking for a great product).

The coolest little tool! I’m super satisfied with how this project turned out. I did one coat of interior eggshell, let it fully dry, then worked in small sections with a gel stain. Don’t try to paint the entire surface with stain and then use the tool- it’ll dry. If you mess up you can always brush over the stain and try again, easy peasy!

Creates a great wood look pattern. It did take me don't time to get the hang of it. But once I did, the results were great. I was able to clean with water and save for reuse later.
