Mera Queen of Atlantis

Really good story and art. Loved that Orm has a somewhat happy life. Mera continues to prove herself as a very competent superhero in her own right. Very good underwater politics. I am thrilled to see this story to the end.

I love this character. I only recently started reading comics and which made me a DC fan much more than Marvel. Then I wanted to see why Aquaman was hated on. I found out that he is actually an awesome character and now one of my favorites next to Batman. Then his lady Mera was introduced and she is my favorite female character and was excited when this came out. Excellent story... politics yes, but it didnt infuse modern American politics in it (thank you for that). The author wrote her in a way that allowed her to be seen as a strong and principled hero. I hope DC gives us more Mera

I really enjoy this story by Abnett. It really adds to his run on the Aquaman book, even though I am not a fan of the direction the Aquaman series has taken since Aquaman went back to long hair and a beard. I actually liked this book even more because Aquaman wasn't in it. Lately, Aquaman as a character has been getting screwed up, but Mera seems to be getting more of the attention she deserves. This book does a great job of connecting she and Orm. Orm's storyline here is one of the best things about the book. The art within the book though is not very strong. The covers were great, and I'm shocked they did not use one for the trade itself. I do not think the cover is as visually appealing as some of the other covers to the single issues.

Finally, Mera in her own story / mini-series (collected here)! I’ve long been a HUGE Mera fan, so this is something I’ve been waiting for!As a strong protagonist, Mera shines, and the writing and art make for a delightful adventure for the Queen of Atlantis.

This book really helps flesh out aquaman supporting cast. I would highly recommended this, especially if you liked her character from the movie.

I loove this story! This really shows Mera not only as a genuine and caring but ready to make hard decisions for her people. I really enjoyed seeing Mera being shown as three dimensional and not some unfeeling warrior. This is a great read for Mera fans.

Im admittedly not update on a lot of going ons in the DC universe i checked this out because i enjoyed Geoff Johns Aqua Man run, im a fan of both Dan Abnett's and Artgem's work and i like the modern characterisation of MeraAnd i wound up really enjoying it thankfully keeps continuity simple and tells you all you need to know about the events in Aqua Man that its tying into

Uma história muito boa e envolvente, que também é importante para terminar o fim da fase do Dan Abnett se conectando diretamente com a guerra civil de Atlântida, como a Panini disse que irá negligenciar essa publicação, recomendo pegar em inglês. Além de se conectar ao título do Renascimento do Aquaman que está excelente, é uma boa história com uma arte também de qualidade.Recomendado ler entre o Volume 6 e 7 do Aquaman da Panini. Se estiver acompanhando os TPs gringos, entre os volumes 5 e 6 de Aquaman.
