DAP Crystal Clear 3.0 Window, Door, Trim & Siding Sealant

Perfect for building miniatures and small crafts. Purchased these for my husband who builds houses for his Garden Railway. He said these are exactly what he's needed. Since it's clear, there's no reason to worry if you get a small amount in a place it shouldn't be. He loves them and will be purchasing more.

Weather in the Washington DC metropolitan area, where I live, can get very hot for long summer spells, freeze up during the winter, and rain pretty much anytime it feels like it. All of which makes it difficult to plan to paint and caulk steadily over a number of days. I discovered DAP 3.0 about 2 years ago and have used it extensively. It has held up very well on a variety of surfaces. What I like most about it is the ability to paint it or leave it exposed to rain within a short time after application. I used an earlier version for which the waiting period to paint or expose to rain was 3 hours, far less than any other caulk I have tried. I'm looking forward to using the latest version, which I recently purchased from Amazon, for which the manufacturer says the waiting time has been reduced to 30 minutes.

Hopefully this product will work great to seal our vinyl siding. It was extremely difficult getting this product out of the gun! On a good note- it is crystal clear and it probably will be resistant to rain in 30 minutes because it is very thick and drying quickly.

I have tried this stuff and the roof/gutter variant. Both tubes of window/door/trim have been exceptionally tough to deliver at what i regard as typical ambient temperatures (70s). The roof/gutter seems to seal just as well but flows better - so i would recommend going to the big box stores and picking that up (its also $7), unless amazon starts to offer it.

This is a great product that I use to seal cracks in walls, gaps in door frames, and various other imperfections around the house. It adheres well to almost any surface and dries quickly. I've tried other sealants that claim to be clear, but when they dry they're actually light gray. This formulation is truly crystal clear.

I can use this even in the dead of winter. Well mid to upper Canada and most of Alaska you have to wait for a warmer day,-20°F or warmer, to use this.Once this sticks, it STICKS. I have windows that I put this on 6 years ago and it hasn't shrunk or cracked.

This was so thick I could barely get any out of the tube, it was a real struggle. I imagen it’s realy old.... I should gave just gone to the store.

Sealing up the roof on my RV ahead of some rain so I’ll update if any leaks happen although DAP has never let me down.
