It's true, my 2 orders came with a few dented cans - but, the food inside was still fine. The price is good for the size.This tastes like authentic Egyptian ful medames. It's not the best version, but it's pretty good.Try this recipe:- Empty the water from the can- Heat the ful in microwave (2 min max) or stove top- Mush it until coarse puree- Add olive oil generously, tahini (1-3 tbsp), crushed cumin / dry coriander (1 big tbsp), salt (start with 0.5 tsp and taste)- Optional: lemon juice, tomato/cucumber/onion chops- Mix all and eat with pita bread (dark full wheat is best)Enjoy!

The first can was OK. The second was rotten. Will probably just throw out the last 4.

Got these to make fool mudammas (a delicious Egyptian dip) and I couldn’t be happier. Fava beans are a wonderful source of protein and iron and I don’t understand why they aren’t as readily available in canned form as any other bean—even Whole Foods didn’t carry them. Thanks to Amazon for carrying this brand.

I was searching for fava beans for authentic Egyptian dishes. I couldn't find them at local supermarkets, or at other online retailers. I was happy to find these. The product is excellent. The only problem was the packaging. The 6 cans rattled around in the big cardboard box and dented each other. All 6 cans arrived dented. I think the 6 cans should be bound together first, maybe shrink-wrapped before they are boxed.
