Finally, my search for something truly portable is over - the fact that it comes in at such an affordable price is an absolute bonus. I've had quite a number of other speakers in the past, some costing even 4x as much as the Select 4 Go - this one is an excellent buy. Yes, bigger speakers will give you more bass (larger drivers being able to simply push bigger volumes of air), but a little bit of EQ tweaking adds a nice amount of warmth to this speaker's sound (the standard sound is very nicely balanced, however). Again, for the size, and price, the Select 4 Go is fantastic. Important to note, however, is that there is an upgraded version of this speaker by which the bew variant has an upgraded Bluetooth chip. Both variants look the same, and the one Amazon is currently selling (at least the one I received) is the first version. The upgraded chip has lower Bluetooth latency and slightly improved stability (not that the first one suffered from instability). More important, however, is that you cannot pair the first variant with the second variant (i.e no TWS connectivity between the 2). To check if you have the firstbor second variant, check the firmware version in the app. Version 2's firmware will be 4.X.X. You can also check via the serial number, as the 7th character of the new variant's SN will be a "C", whereas the first variant will be a "0" or "1".
