Corrected my mistake
I did not get a Type Cover when I bought my Surface Go, because I was concerned about the price, somewhat, and then also I wanted to try a folding Bluetooth keyboard instead. Amazon's discount on this vs. the list price (the Silver one for $80 instead of $130) was somewhat offset by the mistake of buying the folding keyboard, but I am so glad I did get the Type cover. The fabric is nice, and so far it does seem reasonably stain resistant. It is luxurious to the touch, somewhere in between suede, felt, and microfiber. The weight is nice, the keyboard is excellent with only a tiny amount of flex, and the trackpad is also excellent. The one minor design flaw is that it does not quite flip around (so that you can flip it back for tablet mode and have the keys concealed on the inside) - the dock on the Surface Go is just slightly asymmetric. It is close enough that you can basically do this, though. Overall, I strongly recommend this, it really ups the ante with the Surface Go and pushes it much closer to being a full replacement for my very good 13" notebook.Edit: Oh, I forgot to mention - the backlight has multiple levels (it cycles through them with the key) and I am also particularly impressed that the Fn key has a lock with a LED indicator - you can change the mode of the function keys from F1-12 to the brightness/volume/etc controls (and Fn-Fx does the other one) directly from the keyboard, for instance if you need to be able to do a one-handed Alt-F4.

Great keyboard
I bought these 2 years ago at the moment I write these review. This one is a English (international) keyboard, so you can use it to type on Spanish. After all these time zero problems but they are starting to look a little bit worn. Still they look and works as intendedThe photos I post here are after two years. The stains are for use and humidity

Works great! Easy to use!
This keyboard is fantastic! I was a little hesitant to try it out. Memories of trying to pair Bluetooth keyboards to tablets and never getting bit to work came to mind. Not an issue at all. It doesn’t go on Bluetooth. It just pops in and connects. It’s always ready to go when I am. There is no tome to wait for pairing or any delay. I was surprised by the touchpad as well, I just didn’t think it would work as well. I’m very happy with this purchase. It is working great and I have no problems at all.

The perfect premium keyboard cover for the Surface Go
There's nothing major to dislike about the Alcantara cover, it is an overall great cover and keyboard combo and you should get it to complete the look of your new Surface Go.The cover material on the out-facing side feels really good on the hands, similarly for the keyboard side but not as good as the out-facing side. The keyboard feels nice to type on, there is little key travel and for a tiny keyboard it feels surprisingly comfortable to type. You do get a bit thrown off from time to time since the layout is packed tight but you get used to it very quickly. There are three levels of backlight brightness for the keyboard and is bright during the daytime and in dim environments. It attaches quite strongly to the Surface Go magnetically so be careful not to yank it out too hard.My nitpick for the keyboard is that the arrow keys are not great but sacrifices had to be made. The mouse pad is small so you will want a mouse alongside the Surface Go. I think it would feel nicer if it was magnetic at the lip as well since it opens like a door that's ajar.Well worth the purchase, especially if you want to spoil yourself.

Great little keyboard
I ordered this keyboard in Cobalt Blue color for my Microsoft Surface Go 2. The keyboard attachment increases the overall usability of the Surface Go with a keyboard, trackpad, and keys for volume, screen brightness, and backlit keys. The tactile feedback of the keyboard feels great. The alcantara fabric of the keyboard is soft to the touch. It attaches magnetically to the bottom of the surface and overall feels stable and securely attached. Folding the keyboard to the Surface screen will put the tablet into sleep mode. Folding the keyboard to the back of the tablet will disable the keyboard and put it back into tablet mode.Occasionally I've noticed it takes a bit longer than usual for the tablet to recognize the keyboard. The keyboard has been shrunk quite a bit to meet the form factor of the device. If you're used to the keyboard on the Surface Laptop or Surface Pro you might find yourself striking the wrong keys initially, especially if you have larger hands. After a bit of practice and relearning I've noticed my typos decrease.Overall the keyboard is a great add-on that increases the functionality of the Surface Go, especially if it's your only computer.

Great deal compared to other stores
I bought this for $40-50 (can’t remember exact amount). Other stores like Best Buy sold the same product for $95 (and that was on sale!), and to buy this from Microsoft directly cost $120-130 I believe.Normally I am sus about buying tech stuff from Amazon, but this seems to be genuine product and works great with my surface go 2

Love the full keyboard
I love that I can quickly put this on my tablet when I want to type. Its so easy to hold it near the bottom of my tablet and it clicks right in. The keys light up nicely, if they fade out when its dark, just hover your hand over the keys and they'll light back up. You don't need to think about charging it because it automatically charges when its attached to your tablet. Very pleased.
