My little dude is pretty sensitive to having his temperature taken, especially in the ear. For whatever reason, he does not mind this thermometer. He enjoys looking at the different colors and "helping" with the child age selection. The read is fast and accurate (cross-referenced with other thermometers we have which we know to be accurate). This is absolutely worth paying the extra $20-$30 more than your average no-name thermometer as the quality is far superior.

I have to take my temperature daily due to an autoimmune issue & after losing my little temperature log *again* decided to upgrade to this thermometer. I already had the same product, just without the Bluetooth. For someone like me, who has to take my temperature regularly, this was absolutely worth the (minimal) investment! If you only take your temperature occasionally, it may or may not be worth the cost. Regardless of your specific needs, I highly recommend the line of Braun ThermoScan thermometers. They are reliable, easy to use, and reasonably priced.

This thermometer hands-down is top notch makes taking my daughter’s temperature very easy. She never gives us a problem when we asked to take a temperature record very accurately and quickly because you know how it is to try to have a toddler sit still for more than 10 seconds. I highly recommend this purchase. If you have children is a very easy effective way to take an accurate reading of your child’s temperature.

Just received this thermometer, so I can’t speak to longevity just yet. Will update my review if there are any issues there. However, I will say I am immediately impressed by this little device. Good, sleek size and design. Connecting to the Brain Family Care app was quick and easy. The thermometer itself is fairly simple to use if you didn’t want to utilize the app or if someone in your family wanted to use it without the app. Using it with the app seems nice also. You select the age range of the individual, take the temp (which is quick and seems accurate so far), and when it syncs with the app (which is nearly instant if you happen to have the app open already) the reading shows up there and you can assign it to the appropriate family member. It shows the past readings, assigned to each family member, and shows the latest synced reading for each member of the family on the main screen of the app. Will even create a graph to see trends, which makes my Registered Nurse brain happy. As a bonus, I was pleasantly surprised to see the thermometer came with two name brand AA batteries. I’m sure that was in the listing, but I didn’t notice it beforehand. Happy to have a thermometer in my house that doesn’t use dangerous button batteries. We try to minimize things that use those. Excited to see how this does as we move forward through the winter and inevitable illnesses. Will update my review with any issues as I use it more!

If the app isn't working, it's probably user error. Love that it tracks temps and times you give medicine. Tracks multiple family members and just makers managing a sick household a little bit easier

Works as it should and makes it so much easier to take a temperature when necessary and therefore helps ease this mom's mind! Plus it came with some free disposable covers. Worth the money and reliable!

After having several normal (oral/axillary) thermometers that did not work well or seemed to read wrong, we bought this Braun ear thermometer and love it. It is easy to use and age adjustable. It reads quickly and accurately. Highly recommend spending a little extra and getting a high quality thermometer like this one for adults and kids alike.
