Put these in a tank that has plenty of tanins ... feed them nightly with a nutricost spirolna capsule... it will float, but in the morning it will be gone and your daphina will be happy when the light comes on. ... these are simple creatures. They need a tank with a sponge filtered air supply, light , and spiraling and you will have live happy daphnia as long as you keep all three coming.

Packages arrive safe and quick. They added an extra bag with daphnia but only thing isnthat all daphnia were new born babies to small ro reproduce and start the a culture fast. I have to wait for them to grow to adulthood to reproduce and will take longer. It will be very appreciated if you send more fully adult daphnia that can be able to reproduce right away..but I have today the service was very good and fast shipping that's very important. That's the only reason I gave u 3 stars ..I'll be placing another order please this time send me more adult daphnia this time and appreciated thw extra bagHalf of the daphnia died next day

Basically every single daphnia except maybe 5 or so died. I picked grabbed them and brought them in less than 15 minutes after delivery and both bags were very warm to the touch. Hopefully the few that survived will be able to bounce back but im not being too hopeful. Can't recommend.

Arrived alive and decently sized but is definitely not 500 daphnia, it looks more like 100 per bag if that.

Not sure what I did wrong. Possibly contaminated food source? Upon receiving my daphnia 2 days early, a huge portion was already dead, but I did follow the instructions for half of the culture which completely died within 48 hours. The other half of the culture i put directly into my aquarium which I believe was almost completely annihilated by my fish (as was intended) however i am hopeful a few survived and are hiding in the aquarium. I was hoping to start a culture to provide a live source of food for my fish but I apparently failed in my first attempt. Will likely try again in the near future.
