It may not be everything you could ever want to know about these machines, but it sure is a great deal of info.Each vehicle has six pages dedicated to it. The first two pages give you an introduction to the vehicle and some production information about what went into building or designing it for the movie. The next four pages are all the juicy stuff, with a pair of 2-page cross sections to enjoy with some of the more interesting features pointed out. You also get some explanations of the more interesting tech as well as a stat sheet and list of features. I like the fact this book have this stuff all set up in a consistent and orderly fashion, so you know what to expect.The graphics for the cross sections are obviously computer generated, but what it lacks in beauty it more than makes up for in details. All the components of the vehicles can be seen clearly and fully detailed. All of the features you saw in the movies are explained and listed. They even go so far as to make a decent explanation for the neon detailing in the Schumacher films. It's a pretty serious drop of the ball i my opinion, and was a big reason for not giving this book a full 5 stars. Would it hurt to add another six pages to get that one in?So I have been talking about the book, but another big feature on this is the collectible die cast car it comes with. The car is the Batmobile from the Tim Burton films. It measures at about five inches, so it's a good deal larger that your average Hot Wheels car. It comes with its own base with some accessories like Batman and a couple of oil barrels. A background is also attached to the base that is a neat 3-D type image of the exploding refinery from the 1989 movie. All in all a neat extra. The packaging specifically says it's meant for 14+ years of age, and to be honest it's not much of a toy. The wheels don't move much at all. Still it's a nice display piece for a collector.This Batmobile Cutaways book is a gem for those of you who love those cross section or tech books. It would be much better with the addition of the Batwing, but all in all you get a lot of good stuff in this edition.

Very happy with this purchase. The book is very detailed and well made. Great pictures and descriptions. The model Batmobile that comes with it is a nice little display piece. Very enjoyable read. If you are a Batman fan I would highly recommend this. No complaints.

Great deal! You get a colorful and entertaining book with cutaway pictures of the Batmobile and other Bat vehicles along with detailed explanations of the systems that power them and accessories. Plus you get a miniature diorama of the Bat cave with a Batmobile included.

The book provides great visual depictions of the various vehicles appearing in the films up to 2012. The book explains technological features in greater detail than depicted in the films. A great book for any fan of the Batman and Dark Knight films.

Great addition to a collection. Book is a bit thin for material but overall you will be getting a book and die cast of the '89 batmobile. Can't go wrong.
