M3 Silver Door Handle Screws with Bolt Connecting Sleeve Male to Female for Door Handle, Knobs Escutcheons and Others Pack of 2

Had these to fix handle on door, have not put them on yet but they look good enough.

As expected

We have an airing cupboard door that is synthetic panels joined around a wooden former for the edges, and that former gets hinges and handles attached to it. Unofrtunately for us, the place where the handle should go is not where we wanted it to go, so we had to put handles where there is no wooden structure to screw into. Cue these screw/bolt/thingies. We placed the door handle we wanted, onto the face of the door where we wanted it to be (in line with an existing strike plate), positioned so that the latch and latch plate would align with that strike plate, and then just screwed through the thin synthetic door sides from front to back (making sure the drill bit was completely perpendicular to the door, so that the holes each side would align). Half of these screw-bolts are short and have the female part of the bolt that passes through the handle face, and the longer "male" part of the bolt goes through the door furniture and panels and the bolts each side are tightened against each other to get a nice firm fixing. There might be cases where the depth of the screw-bolts needs to be adjusted for slimmer doors (they come at a set length), and on cases such as these it will be necessary to shorten the male screw threaded section with a hacksaw. Don;t cut too much, try to establish how much to remove by trying an assembled pair against the depth of the door to get an impression of how much needs to be removed. These are good quality items, they join the handle assemblies each side very securely, and don't look as though they are going to come loose anytime soon.

Moved into this house three years ago. Noticed screw missing from door handle and had to remove the other one to see what type it was. I’m in my 60’s and had never come across this type before. A quick look at Amazon and I found what I needed. Arrived in a couple of days, and Installed immediately

I ordered brass capture bolts and received 2 x steel bolts with brass captures! Not what I ordered as I wanted Brass! This means that I'd have brass on one side of the handles and steel on the other. Most disappointed considering the long wait for these items. My customer has already had to wait for me to do this work as it is. I've gone elsewhere and had to pay significantly more for a larger than needed quantity. It arrives next day so I'm glad that I can still furnish my customers needs albeit at my expense. Be aware!

Easy to cut to size but need need to size carefully. Need strong pliers. Significantly overpriced because you are buying a small number (two screws).

Solved my problem of Grandkids swinging on door handles, pulling the screws as a consequence. With the two Handles (each side of the door) secured by these fixings, I'm now comfortable watching the kids enjoying themselves without causing my blood pressure to rise!!

Worked OK. Arrived in good time.
