Great fruit tree trunk protection!
Great product! Organic and safe! Tried their spray version and it was absolute TRASH. Stick with this; it's worth the extra effort of paint on vs spray on which seemed like just plain water.

I purchased IVorganic because last summer there was a terrible heat wave that almost destroyed my avocado trees
I purchased IVorganic because last summer there was a terrible heat wave that almost destroyed my avocado trees. I have attached pictures of two different avocado trees I have so you can see the damage caused by the summer heat as well as the recovery after applying IVorganic. I am also including pictures of my Voodoo Fuscia plant that I purchased three days ago and applied IVorganic to yesterday.I live in Temecula, California where the last summer's dry heat reached the high 100 degrees. As a result, my newly planted avocado tree began to burn and die off. In the pictures you will notice where I had to cut the dead trunk very close to the graft. All of the branches had burnt off and died and now the trunk was burning off. As you can see, my avocado tree was close to death with only one big branch and a small branch growing. I painted the trunk of the tree with IVorganic and sprayed the leaves to protect them from sun burn and you can see the result. I have several new branches coming off of the tree and a ton of new growth from the already existing branches. Now that the weather is heating up again I have not seen any new burning of leaves or of the trunk. On the second potted avocado tree you will see how the heat has burnt and stunted the growth of the leaves. You can see that the leaves are a lot smaller than my hand. After applying IVorganic I not only have a ton of new growth, the leaves are huge and healthy (as you can see by the new picture of the leaves against my hand.)Finally... the most recent success story. Three days ago I purchased a Voodoo Fuchsia plant to put into my back yard. These plants grow in part sun/shade and don't enjoy full afternoon sun. Unfortunately for me most of my yard is exposed to full afternoon sun; so I decided to take a chance and hope for the best. When I returned home the next day after work I went out to check on my Voodo Fuchsia plants and they all looked dead. The leaves and flowers had burnt, all of the leaves and some of the branches were wilted and to the verge of falling off. I quickly gave the plant more water hoping that would help and I remembered that I still had more IVorganic foliar spray. Yesterday I sprayed my Fuchsia plants all over with IVorganic and, again, hoped for the best. The test would be the result after returning home today to check on my plants. These plants that grow best in part shade/sun had been out in the full desert 91 degree sun for about four hours. Surely that much full sun exposure would have burnt and/or killed off my plant. Not at all! When I got home I quickly went to my back yard and found my Fuchsia in full sun with the leaves still fully upright and NO new burns. It was like the plant was loving the full sun. I am 100% convinced that the only reason my trees and plants are surviving this Southern California dry heat is because of IVorganic. I will be a lifetime customer of this product now. If you live in an area that gets very hot and you want to protect your plants, I fully suggest you get this product and see for yourself. Check out the results from my pictures. For those who are concerned about mixing the whole can for just one tree I offer this advice: use what you need, and put the rest in your fridge. This stuff preserves very well and you can save any unused product in your fridge for future use.

Used on Avocado
I used it on my avocado because they hate the sun and I just don’t like using uv sheets. Works pretty good. Easy to use and mix. Definitely have to stay up on the application. But I work in forestry I use this on some of the save trees to patch cuts or scares and has worked very well for that. Haven’t seen any pest damage. In Cali the bettles usually find them.

This seems to be working
I painted all of my fruit trees to protect from sunburn and possible insects. Summer is coming so as of right now it's great. You have to mix it yourself. It is not premade

Organic is the only way to go.
I have 10 fruit trees. I have noticed that about half of them have issues due to moss, then all of them have issues due to bugs I am assuming. I initially bought some latex paint and was going to add iron oxide and lime to it and paint them all from watching YouTube videos. Then I came across these IV Organic guys. Everything is 100% organic. I bought this pint to try on my most sick tree. It is super easy to mix. I first put enough water in to mix a paste, then painted over the wounds from the branches I cut off. Then I added the rest of the water to the top. It painted up to 5" and out on two branches as it shows in the photo.I now ordered a gallon to do the rest of my trees. I accidentally got the white wash but I figured this stuff is so great I will take that and then I ordered a gallon of this version. I will definitely use them both. Save the white wash for the winter months.

Great Product
This is my third year purchasing IV Organics plant guard. It seems expensive but it really goes a long way. We use it to paint the trunks of our fruit trees. We have a backyard orchard so nothing too large. We like to paint the trunks for the winter because where we are the weather is quite variable and we get a lot of sudden freezes followed by warming, therefore they are prone to sun scald. We noticed a lot more injury to our trees when we were not using the Plant Guard. It definitely has a smell, but it is not unpleasant, just like a bunch of herbs and cinnamon put together. It is very easy to use, just mix up and either paint on or use as spray. Anything remaining can be frozen, though we generally don’t have anything to save.
