Death Stranding 2: On The Beach - PS5

As of mid July this is easily the GOTY front runner. Literally a masterpiece. Great cinematic story/writing, phenomenal gameplay, insane visuals, smooth combat. This game has it all with next to zero bugs. I could see how the fortnight/cod crowd wouldn’t enjoy this game due to the toddler like attention spans and brainrot that community suffers from. It’s refreshing to play a completely original game with new mechanics and a fresh story instead of a remaster, remake, same sport game every year, generic soulslike, or fps COD clone. Also refreshing to see a AAA game studio release an actual finished/polished game ON release day instead of the Ubisoft method of releasing barely working buggy slop after several delays. As someone who enjoys single player story driven games DS2 is EASILY a 5/5-10/10.

This game alone is a reason to buy a ps5 if you don't have one. It's perfect. Fun mechanics, beautiful and also horrifying environments, a lot to do and fairly open ended how you do it. I've never been this drawn to any game before

One of the most beautiful games I’ve ever played but the story is a little weird & confusing to my liking. DS2 like its predecessor is still a must have game for any PS5 owner because of the incredible graphics and gameplay even if the sci-fi story is weird and confusing…

Much better than the first one. Walking everywhere was STUPID when you would constantly walk past one vehicle after another but couldn't use them. This one makes use of vehicles, zip lines, trams etc. Makes much more sense. And the BT'S aren't as difficult this time around either. I would rage quit the first one after constantly being grabbed and lose all my stuff... Took all the fun out of it. And I'm not a SOULS game player where I don't mind dying hundreds of times. I play for enjoyment.. Not excess of challenge. So kudos to the developers on this one... For making a game FUN!

Don't pass this up I was going to considering how all the games lately have really sucked this one is what I've been waiting for great graphics great everything mechanics involved story finally a game where you get your money's worth and more

This sequel is more accessible gameplay wise than the 1st. Still, either play the original first or at least watch a youtube video explaining the plot. Otherwise you will not understand anything. Another Hideo Kojima classic.

Beautiful game with very interesting and developed characters , great acting and voicing behind the characters , fascinating world , gripping story of survival and relationships and struggle .

This is everything that was promised for the first game. No more Monster energy drinks lol, this is what I wanted from the first game. Great stealth mechanics, great shooting mechanics, awesome boss fights, this game is so good. Kogima did it again!
