Item does not work
Item will not charge or turn on upon receipt. Very disappointed!Decided to give them another chance - received another device and this time it won't hold a charge. Fully charged - battery empty within less than 2 hours.

the first didn't work the replacement worked a year and a half
how long are the batteries supposed to live? the one I received as a replacement worked for 1 1/2 years. up until a few days ago, the Fitbit worked great. though the battery went from lasting 5 days to 3, then 1 and now it dies right after being taken off the charger. up until then, it was fantastic. the company is VERY fast to respond when contacted. they replaced my first Alta and didn't want the broken one back. so that was good. but honestly, don't buy a reconditioned one, get a new one and hopefully, the battery will last longer.

Spend the extra money and get a brand new one
This product did not hold a charge and would not hold a charge I thought refurbished would mean they went back and fix problems but this one was a big problem and a waste of time and money
