🎯 Master precision motion — because your work deserves nothing less.
The Huanyu X Axis Micrometer Translation Stage offers a 13mm travel range with 5μm accuracy and supports up to 2kg load. Featuring a precision-machined aluminum alloy body with anodized finish, it ensures smooth, backlash-free linear displacement via a central micrometer head and spring return. Its dual-sided mounting and standard hole spacing enable versatile multi-dimensional configurations, making it ideal for microscopy, optical experiments, and precision positioning applications.

Small but capable manual linear stage
The media could not be loaded. Considering the relatively low price this is a useful small, manual linear stage. Not great, but good enough. Despite the small size, the roughly 3.4 cm2 stage has plenty of threaded attachment points on top with 20 M2 holes and 5 well-spaced M4 holes. The bottom side has 2 threaded M4 holes and an additional 4 unthreaded pin location holes for mounting. The maximum travel is 13 mm with graduation marks at 0.5 mm on the sleeve and 10 microns on the thimble providing a maximum resolution of 10 µ. I am not sure how the manufacturer came up with the 5 µ accuracy claim.Calibration and backlash was checked with a Starrett Last Word dial indicator (video). I was skeptical of the spring design but it did work with no discernable backlash. Construction is of anodized aluminum and steel. The thimble rotates smoothly and is tight with no slop in operation. This is obviously a specialty item but if you have a need for manually controlled small, precise movement in one dimension this could be a useful possible solution.

Very nice, very precise!
I am very pleased with this. I began with a certain technical need. Then I imagined what a solution would look like and figured it had to exist somewhere. Took me a while to figure out what it would be called. And here it is, very nicely machined and usable to 10 um resolution.

Good, economic choice
This is a good stage for a good price, these tend to be very expensive if you need one for a project, but this offers a cheaper way to get one. It works well, and is quite precise, it was easy to set up and work with. The mechanisms work smoothly and seem well made. Depending on what you're working with, this could be exactly what you need. It's good this uses the standard hole spacing, you can stack it and expand with other stages if you need. The build feels solid and should last for quite a bit of use.
