Pleasantly surprised!
I have a smaller classroom and am pleasantly suprised by this rug. Is it super soft? No, not really. But the colors are vibrant, it looks like it will hold up well. Good size for a small classroom! We are learning about states this year so this will be perfect!

Great with two minor issues
The good: big, bright, educational, and really adds a fun look to the room.The bad: it smells really strong like rubber, very overwhelming. I kept the kids out of the playroom for the first couple days it was so strong. I bought febreeze fabric spray and that somewhat helped & I also vacuumed it each day. The other con was there were a few tiny pulls in the carpet (see pics). I ended up cutting them down so they weren’t so noticeable but still disappointing it wasn’t in perfect condition.Overall: I like it a lot. The kids like it a lot. The smell is decreasing. If the smell doesn’t go away after a week I will update review. The few runs aren’t noticeable anymore since I cut them so it looks perfect now so I’m happy.

Large and so clear!
I run a daycare and this size is so much bigger than I expected. It's so clear that my kids can easily identify a state I call out or a letter of the alphabet that is bordering the map.

What a Great Gift for Children!
I bought this for my grandchildren (ages 5 and 3), who will be traveling cross-country this summer. This affordable, washable, big rug lets them visualize the distance, sit on the rug for a story, roll around on it, and if floor space in their home becomes limited, this rug could always be hung on a wall as a "tapestry." Colors are bright, the states well defined. 100% pleased.

Great price
You can’t beat the price but it is not holding up well. The corners started coming unraveled within the first month I had it. Water spills look like stains.
