Absolutely gorgeous - and accurate!
These cards are absolutely gorgeous. I am glad they give the artist credit on the box (Erikas Chesonis), who did an INCREDIBLE job. I assumed every number was going to be a certain bird, but to my surprise, every single card is different. There are 54 different birds. As an avid birder I was pleasantly surprised to see all of them including labels for those who want to learn their birds. The artwork is stunning. I was constantly in awe as I went through the cards. I almost am hesitant to play with them because I want to keep them pristine! But the quality feels great, just like a standard deck of cards including some nice weave texture (pictured). I would be ecstatic if I were gifted this, but I gifted it to myself! Pictured are some of my favorites. Love love love.

Stunning ART, ALL DIFF and HighQuality!
Sturdy, quality cardstock, nice texture finish, large, attractive & easy to read numbers-- but the ARTWORK of the birds- each card is a different bird, so 54 diff pieces of bird art-- is SIMPLE & STUNNING!. Color palette is subtle and harmonious. These are stylized & patterned, gracefully composed and gorgeous. Your first actual card game with them will take HOURS just for the looking ;)

Absolutely gorgeous to look at. And a delight to play with.
Every game you play with these cards will entertain and delight you and your guests. I am so impressed with the feel and art work of these playing cards. The birds are gorgeous and full of detail- my eye catches something new each time I see a card. We play a lot of Hand-n-Foot that require multiple decks. In my opinion these playing cards are not too sturdy for multiple deck play and shuffle. Nor are they too thin for single deck shuffle and quick playing. They are slightly textured making them pleasant to hold while also keeping them from sticking when dealing or drawing your cards. Several family members and friends requested link for purchasing their own. I’m also back to buy more as gifts.

A good deck, with some minor caveats
Cards are gorgeous, and they play perfectly well. They are a little rougher than, say, a bicycle deck, so they don't slide over each other as freely. You feel that roughness mostly in the edges, though there is a little of that on the faces--a certain textural sensation when you rub them against each other. Again, they still play fine, and shuffle fine. It's just noticeable when comparing. And that could also just be the nature of the beast, with the added art. Strangely, the box itself gave me some trouble. The cards don't come with a sticker seal so I expected easier access, but the top tab was wedged tight, and did not want to pull free. I didn't want to rip it, so I slipped a butter knife under and the edge, and used that to lever it out. It worked. But then, when I made to put them back in, the back cards ran up against the inside tab on the bottom of the box, and did not want to go fully in. Other card boxes seal on the outside, presumably to keep this from happening. I assume they did it this way to save costs by not having to glue the bottom. But it is kind of annoying, especially if you don't want to force the cards in and risk damaging them. Alright. Those are my nitpicks. Still a decent deck, and I'm guessing some of the problems will correct themselves as they get used.

Beautiful design and quality
This was a gift for my bird-loving dad. The designs on each card are exceptional and the quality of the cards is great. It is really neat to see the graphic representation of each bird.
