Wakacon Vanuatu Waka Kava Powder - Premium Noble Kava from Vanuatu (16 oz)

I’ve tried probably 5 or 6 different companies and strains from different regions all ordered off Amazon and this one takes it by a mile. The others were alright and their price reflected it but I also went through it faster because of a lower potency. This one after a 12 oz cup the effects are noticeable. I’m using 1/2 a cup o kava root to about 2 qts or so of water which makes the 16 oz bag last about 7 days and that’s with going heavier on the weekends. They all taste like drinking a mud puddle and this one is no different but it does have a little spice to it. Definitely will buy this one again.

Excellent quality kava, very relaxing.

I am a kava connoisseur and this kava IS Strong. Personally its too "heady" for my liking but it did have a potent effect. Some people like it but I prefer a more social mellow kava. "Heady" in the kava world refers to a specific kavalactone chemotype that has a more "dopey" effect, not good for any physical activity. Its better for crashing out EOD or any sit down projects IMO... Its a decent value though, compared to other retailers this company gives more powder. For the same price some suppliers bags are half the fill of this one so thats cool. However the grind is still pretty chunky, definitely not a micronized powder whatsoever. In my experience too much of a powder ressembling saw dust can effect the stomach. I didnt get any nausea from this product but I only had about 2 servings for my first try. Just that one "double shot" packed a punch and had a strong effect, so the bag should last. Again, heady kava nots my favorite so I wont reorder but for some they prefer it.

I’ve tried lots of brands of kava and this one works the best by far. Almost every other band actually had no effect on me at all. One other brand I tried had a very mild effect. This one actually gives me a very nice relaxed feeling, like kava is apparently supposed to. I don’t know why none of the other ones work at all. But I do know this one is the only one I’ll buy now. Tip: you have to drink it on an empty stomach for the effect (or at least I do!).

Grabbed this because I was intrigued about the altering effects I've heard others claim it has. I made 8oz of the stuff in the proper was, as per the instructions. The only effect I felt was a slimy, burning throat. I drank it really fast too, hoping to get the full effect. I've had more altering experiences by taking 1 aspirin. ZERO effect. I felt nothing. I would give this a pass if I felt even a slight buzz, but it was all work, and all disgusting, for no reward. It was so ineffective, that I'm literally going to eat the cost, and throw it in the trash. Also, check the liver warning on the packaging. What's that about? Many people look into kava because they're trying to safely replace a toxic relationship with other substances, such as alcohol, but there's also a warning stating not to use this product if you use alcohol regularly. In conclusion, BOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooo...

High quality stuff. I drink it on regular basis and both the taste and potency are superior. Highly recommended.
