The wood floor around our dog’s bowls was being ruined because he’s a messy eater/drinker. This solved the issue and the height with the leg extensions was perfect for my 74 lb Lab. The only negative I can say is the food bowl was loose and bangs around while he was eating. I resolved the issue by getting some #107 7” HD rubber bands on Amazon and put several around the underside, top edge of the food bowl. This tightened up the fit. The weight of the water holds the water bowl in place. Overall, a great choice and would recommend.

I sent this to my best friend that recently got a German Shepherd puppy, her first, meet Ryker. For references, Ryker is 14 weeks old in the video and weighs 37 pounds. He is approximately 18 inches at the shoulder. Without the extension legs, the Feeder is about 15 inches from the top of the splash guard to the floor. He is growing so quickly (obviously), and she told me that he was beginning to lie down to eat. This Neater Feeder came with the slow-feed bowl, but she said he was having a little trouble with it, although he already has a slow-feed bowl that he does fine with.She also noted that when attaching the extension legs, the feeder initially seemed slightly unstable. Upon closer inspection, she discovered letters on the extension legs that corresponded to specific positions on the fixed legs. Once aligned correctly, the feeder became stable. It is important to ensure that the extension legs are placed in the proper positions. The extension feature is highly beneficial as it allows the feeder to accommodate a growing puppy that will eventually become a larger dog. Additionally, the splash guard and drain holes function effectively, preventing any mess after feeding, which was an issue prior to obtaining the Neater Feeder.My older Neater Feeder still appears new after almost nine years, and the current model seems to be constructed just as well. These feeders are easy to clean, and I recommend emptying any splashed water that drains into the bottom at least once a day to prevent water stains from forming due to evaporation. We highly endorse this product.

Don’t have a dog, but I have a big Bernese Mountain grand dog who stays with me a lot. And my sister dog comes and stays, so now we have something that will help the mess.

So far we love it. Our lab has no issues with eating from it. It really does help with keeping messes under control. Day 1 was a success!

I was worried it wouldn’t be worth the price and it absolutely is! I recommend. I’m so pleased with the product. The bowl sizes are large! I love everything about this feeder!

This is nice. Still can be messy to clean up with water going down to bottom panel but not as messy without. Dog adapted to it very easy. Like the larger water bowl. Fits my space good. Might be better without side curves so dog can access a little easier.

This food bowl is great…perfect height for my dog …since I’ve had it I haven’t had to clean up any water off the floor

Purchased the XL w/leg extensions for our messy drinker in 2021. Our male is dainty, but our female is a hot mess (her nickname is “Kool-Aid Man”). She used to get water ALL OVER (floor & walls) no matter what I tried (rubber mats, rugs, towels, elevated bowls, not filling the bowl past 50%, etc). The Neater Feeder was expensive (I pouted about investing that much on dog bowls), but twice a day, EVERY day, I’m grateful that I bought it! Save your sanity and your floors and buy it! It’s definitely worth the investment!The reason I came back 3.5 yrs later to write a review is because I’ve been hoping they would add a large, single-bowl version to the lineup that I could use for water in a different room of my house (and I figured this might be a way to get their attention). It needs to be the exact same concept/design (with drain holes & back/sides), but for a single, XL bowl. The 2-bowl design is REALLY large (wider than a standard dining chair). A single bowl version has many applications and would sell really well. PLEASE consider making it Neater Feeder!!!
