The sound on the pages stops working. I returned the book for a new one within the return period, but it stopped again. It is such a wonderful book style to get toddlers interested in music, but it ultimately fails. This has happened with all three of the books I have purchased in this series.

This was such a favorite of my grandson. He would raise his hands and conduct. HE had a few months of joy and then, I guessed it was the batteries, it stopped. I I bought a buch of LR1130 and if I push really had some of the buttons work again. Can someone who produces this book work on why? Is it the little metal tongs under the batteries that need raising? Can you fix this issue that it stops working, even with new batteries? Then all of us would love it. Because he had so much joy I gave it a four, but know that when its done, even new batteries dont return it to its great first functionality. See what I mean in my video. [tho i htink it only comes in as a photo for some reason] The force needed is greater to generate play. I need my adult thumb to get it working again.

I really love The Story Orchestra books so was excited when there was a board book version but unfortunately the buttons stop working within a couple days. I wrote to them and they replaced it with another one, and once again the first and third page the music stopped working. Really disappointed.

This book is so gorgeous. The sound bites are genuinely pleasant to listen to on repeat as a parent! We don’t tolerate many sound books, but this one is a must. The buttons are quiet sensitive and should be handled with some level of care.

I bought this noise book for my daughter and was horrified by a serious safety issue. The battery on the back is covered by a flap, which is held down by a thin, clear sticker. My baby managed to peel it off and put it in her mouth. Within seconds, she began gagging and choking — we couldn’t see what was causing it because the sticker was nearly invisible. I had to stick my fingers down her throat to pull it out. This was an incredibly frightening experience and could have ended very badly. A transparent sticker on a baby product is a huge choking hazard, especially when it’s not visible and easily comes off. This product needs an urgent redesign. I’m shocked it passed any sort of safety check. Please be extremely careful if you have this book — I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone with a young child.
