This is a professional straightening tool!! And it’s amazing. I’ve purchased 2 over last 3-4 years. One became my daughters and one mine. I have very coarse curly hair and this is the only tool I use that can straighten properly and leave my hair super shiny and soft. I do a fast blow dry and in 10 minutes I can straighten my unruly frizz. The size is perfect and is so much better than the 1 in ones. It gets hot fast and stays hot… no heat settings - it’s on or off. So he cautious while you use it- keep it moving along or it’ll burn - this is professional grade. Love it!!

This is a good hot iron for my hair type. I don't have overly thin hair nor do I have heavily course hair. It offers ONE heat setting. The technology is to adjust to your hair type. I LOVE it so much more than my Babyblis which I have used for almost 12 years. I only need to go through my hair 1-3 times, depending on what section of my head I'm working on. My hair is smooth and silky. No snagging, pulling. I wrap my hair at night to keep out the kinks, puffiness that can occur when I sleep and when I wake the next morning my hair is silky soft and straight. I am definitely using the hot iron less frequently; 1-2 times a week. For me, it's worth the prices.

I love GHD products so much! The last straightener I had from GHD lasted well over 10 years! (The hair dryer I got the same time still works perfectly!) It makes your hair so soft, shiny, & smooth! I think they are worth every penny! I love that it heats up so quickly and is so easy to use, and it truly doesn’t take too long to get beautiful hair every time! The only thing I would change::: the first straightener I got was platinum- loved, loved, loved! This go around I fell in love with this straightener, quite frankly for the sole reason being it was pink! 😂 Since I went from platinum to gold- only complaint is, I don’t think it’s as long as the platinum. I have super thick hair and it just takes a baby bit longer for me since it doesn’t cover as much hair as the platinum. It comes with a cute pink case for easy storage and travel! 10/10- always would recommend GHD products to anyone!!!

Update: I have to admit that am no sure it heats up to 137... it feels a lot hotter so I guess that's the secret for straightening fast and leaving hair very straight, sometimes I feel it way too hot :/... So... I don't know where ti start! First of all AM SOO IMPRESSED people! Believe me I have bought so many hair straighteners I even have a video on my yt chnel and I have never been so impressed about aby hair straightener in my whole life! I had slays seen this GHD hair straighteners all around the internet since the first time I made a research on which hair straightener I could buy to not damage my hair and get it super straight, I wanted a GHD but my uncles wife sent me an " keratin complex stilt(not suer if 2 o 3) " but didn't buy the one I gave her the money for saying that the kerat8n complex was better... so almost 12 or 13 years later finally I bought it AND I WAS EXEPTIC I tough5 " yeah let's see almost $300 for this ... so I opened it ... I was like this v9x isn't so amazing, there's just this silicon accessorie... no big deal, than I fel the straightener so SOOO light that I tought... meh ... IT HAD JUST ONE BUTTON AND ONE ONLY HEAT TEMPERATURE! so I was like "REALLY? THIS IS IT" BUT THE time came t9 prove it on my hair and can't believe how straight, soft and shiny it left my hair! And h9w fast I Straightened ALL MY HAIR WITH IT .... so yeah I finally can sale all of the tons of hairstraightener I have yo keep just this one BELIEVE ME

Had the 1” and upgraded to the 2” to see if id like it more—definite yes, it cuts my straightening time in half. Cant get as close to my roots as id like but its not enough to go back to the smaller plates

The product works great when it works. I've purchased to over the past few years and they've both broken after owning for a year. Unfortunately I won't be purchasing again.

I just purchased this straightener and I am in love! The speed it takes to straighten my hair is half the time it used to be! I notice my hair is shiny. Only has one heat level and heats up fast.

I have only used these Straighteners a few times when they suddenly stopped working and the plates do not heat anymore. A very expensive product that was a complete waste of money for me.

This is the best hair straightener I have ever used ever in my life. My hair is so thick, fuzzy and curly and I hate it. No straightener has been a match for my hair....until I bought this one. OMG I can't stop feeling my hair it is so soft and smooth and I didn't even use product after.. that is how it looked after I used this straightener. It also took me less than 30 mins to do because it only took ONE swipe with the straightener to make it so perfect!!! It's expensive but this has honestly changed my life and made my mornings a lot faster. Get this!!!
