The smell is amazing. I wish it was a little stronger, but I understand I am probably on the far end of the spectrum when it comes to strength preference, haha. It didn’t noticeably last all day, but I would still move a certain way and get a whiff of it here and there. I believe it’s a perfume oil, which I was nervous about as I tried another santal/33 inspiration oil sold on Amazon and it made me break out in an itchy rash all over and this didn’t which is awesome. I don’t know fully if the pheromones work yet, as I just had surgery so husband’s head is elsewhere right now, but I will say, he kept coming back to our bedroom where I’m recovering and just… hanging out and talking to me over and over during the day when he was working from home lol so I think something was happening, whether he knew what it was or not. Definitely worth the money and I will continue to buy. I wish it came in a bigger bottle!

As with the original, this is truly a gender-neutral scent that suits a wide range of people and styles. It’s versatile, timeless, and effortlessly elegant. My only wish? That it came in a larger size-I’d love to stock up without running through the bottle too quickly. If you’re someone who’s drawn to the vibe of Santal 33 but wants something smoother and more wearable, this is it. Pure Amor nailed it with Santal Luxe.

OH MY GOSH! I tiny spray and you smell sultry! I actually had a neighbor gentleman compliment me hold heartedly and asked what have I done differently. One thing... I put 1 tiny spray of this beautiful sultry scent on my arm. Period. I like woodsy, herbal, pepper, and citrus scents. I will be ordering MORE! 💋

This fragrance is clearly inspired by Santal 33, and I’d say it gets about 80% of the way there, which, at this price point, is pretty impressive. However, it does miss a bit of the depth and complexity that gives Santal 33 its signature richness. That said, I wouldn’t expect a 1:1 match, and honestly, that’s part of this fragrance’s appeal. One big advantage? It skips the slightly polarizing pickle-like note that some people pick up in the original. Instead, it feels a little lighter, a bit softer, and ultimately more versatile for everyday wear. The travel size is a great bonus—compact enough to toss in a purse, gym bag, or carry-on without a second thought. Plus, it’s the ideal amount to get you through a season if you like to rotate fragrances. While it’s not a true replacement for Santal 33, it’s a solid budget-friendly alternative, especially if you’re looking for something easy to wear on the go.
