Worked great for transfering data between Macs.
I needed this cable to pull the information off of a dead Mac and put it on my working Mac. Before I wiped the dead one so it could be resurrected and the cable worked perfectly.

Exactly the cable I needed

Great price, these FireWire cables are getting harder to find most computer supply stores no longer stock them. I used it with an adapter to transfer data from a 2010 MacBook Pro to a 2017 MacBook Pro
