Lifelike (I think)...if I really had seen one in real life, lol.
Nice addition to the boys collection of dinos.

Excellent figurine
This little guy has great detail. The color and textures of it's skin really pops. And the feet being able to clamp onto things is a really nice touch.

Very good dinosaur toys.
These Papo dinosaurs are by far the best dinosaur toy/sculpts I've ever bought. I'm an artist by trade and the quality of each toy blows me away. Very detailed sculpts, wrinkles, scales and skin stretching are all visible. The paint job is always extremely well done. It seems to be a combination of ink wash, dry brush and airbrushing where needed. The small scale detail really pops when given this paint treatment. The toys are made of a very durable plastic, but you might not want to be rough with them because there are some very thin areas on a few dinos. Arms and fingers of the theropods could break off. Hasn't happened to any of mine yet and my kids play with them, but not harshly.I'm going to be duplicating this review for all of the papo dinos that look really good.

love
This is the most highly detailed dinosaur toy I've ever owned! I bought this to go with my indoor house plant display that I display my dinosaurs with. I needed a Pterodactyl or flying dinosaur for my display and this one is perfect. It's so detailed and has an awesome paint job with great colors. I hung him from my kitchen window and he "flys" over the plants and other dinos. Highly recommended for collectors or play!

Did Dinosaurs Eat Golf Balls?
I love Papo's dinosaur figurines, as they come with an admirable amount of variety, details, and interesting poses. The iguanodon is no different; one of the first dinosaurs ever described two centuries ago, this figure recreates the well-known paleo-creature in a life-like pose. We can guess about coloration and the degree to which dinosaurs were feathered, but certainly the real iguanodons looked something like this.Nevertheless:One thing I've noticed about Papo's dinosaurs is that when viewed from directly above or below, the bipeds all have bulging round bellies. Not just robust, mind you, but like they swallowed large spheres.I first noticed this with the Acrocanthosaurus I bought a while ago, as well as the Carnotaurus and Ceratasaurus. It doesn't seem to apply to the quadrupeds, such as the Papo Triceratops or Stegosaurus. But the Papo bipeds I have bought so far all look bloated in a way that can't possibly be realistic. From a dorsal or ventral POV, each dinosaur has a distinctly spherical body. It seems to force the legs to sprawl out more widely than I would expect in nature, as if to restrict the forward movement of the legs. With the iguanodon, I noticed that by holding the figure upside-down to look at the belly, this seems to be a deliberate action. Unlike the theropod figures, this one features a more oblong body shape, just like I would expect. But beginning at the lowermost extent of the rib cage, the unnatural bulging commences as if the sculptor felt compelled to add extra roundness to the body. The distinction here between natural slimness and unnatural bloatedness is more distinct here than in any other Papo dinosaur I've seen.I can see no reason why the manufacturer would want to to do this. Dinosaurs are already cool enough without the need to make them look like carcasses that have been sitting in the middle of the highway for too long. Just give them natural proportions, or don't bother making them at all.

Pteranodon
This Pterandon is very well made. The coloration of the plastic is quite good. The wings are flexible to make it seem more realistic. The price on this is excellent. The head is the only thing detachable if it is pulled very hard. It is not meant to be detached so it is the only piece to be concerned about with a small child. I recommend this toy.CA Luster

Cool toy
Very nice pteranodon! First time purchase of Papo toy brand. Nice detail and realistic depiction. Still a little more than I would like to pay. But couldn’t find this Dino in physical stores. Overall happy with purchase.
