improvement to Shure cable after a few days of use
I've had a pair of Shure SE215s for years. The cable has a couple of issues. My most recent replacement cable became "loose" at the 3.5mm plug and became unusable. Previously, the part of the cable that bends across my ears became frayed. Both situations have at least one channel going in and out.I contemplated buying another pair - after three cable purchases over 4 years I figured a new complete set of headphones isn't much more than a new cable. The buds still looked good so I figured let me try a different cable for once. I picked this one after looking at dozens of choices. I find the fit around my ear better - it is a slightly different setup but works well for me. The braided cable also tends to not get as twisted up. Perhaps because of the fit around my ear, the buds even sound better. And feel more comfortable with extended use during a day.So after a few days, very high marks. We'll see what happens through time.

Excellent for the money!
As a professional musician, I tend to go through about 2 or 3 in-ear cables a year. There are a ton of these imports on Amazon, hard to gauge those that are good. After using these about 4 months, I think I may have finally found a reliable and cost effective brand.Hadn't used a non stiff ear loop side before, and was concerned these would not stay in place on the ear, but the cable has just the right amount of firmness and pliability once you wrap them over the top of your ears. I found them comfortable. If I say anything negative, they tend to tangle a little more than some thicker core cables. As to 6 core vs. other higher multiple core sound quality, IMHO I think it's mostly voodoo. You'd be better off spending your money on better ears, or at very least better ear pads (e.g. Comply). I've only done the barest of A-B comparisons, and didn't hear any significant perceptible difference with higher cores. As a keyboardist/pianist, I live in the upper end and midrange, and these were just fine. After going though a couple of other higher core cables that failed, I'd rather have a cable I can trust. No microphonics, no shorts.I love that they are black, I do a bunch of TV/Video stuff, and constantly forget to tuck my cable under my shirt. Since I mostly wear black, this isn't as obvious as a big honking silver/gold cable running down my back. I haven't got yelled at recently by any producers, so that's a plus. :)Another side point of contention: Because they get lost, forgotten, stepped on, etc., I won't use any IEM's or custom molds that cost over $200.00 anymore. Using these with my Session Ace and Shure IEM's (MMCX connection) and I'm happy.Cheers

Braids with no outer covering. Silver coating of questionable value.
This silver-coated cable does seem to sound different, but I honestly can't tell if it's better or worse. It is if course louder because of the balanced connection (needed for more demanding headphones). And it was cheap. But unless you needed a balanced connection, is this really an upgrade from your OEM cable? Self noise is pretty good, but the braids are loose, with no outer covering to protect them. The connectors seem high quality.

Good earhook-less cable
Somewhat rubbery feel, but thin and soft. Very comfortable and doesn't tangle too badly, and the twists were of consistent tightness all the way throughout the cable, unlike some other cheap cables I've had. Seems durable enough too, I've been using it for several months now and would probably buy this again if I ever need another.

Fine cable with some attachment flaws
The cables seem strong and sound really good as replacements in my Westones, however the small slide-able clasp that is supposed to hold the cables tight behind your head slides down on its own and doesn’t stay placed where you slide it. This causes the cables to come over the top of your ear. Needs to be tighter or changed.

Super nice cable! Looks expensive!
I like this cable very much! I have fitted it to my KZ ED16 for this picture but it works perfectly with my KZ ES4 and most other KZ IEM's as well as my TRN V20. The cable looks and feels high quality. The hardware is all metal and very sturdy. The cable is very pretty and feels soft and very flexible. It is nice, thick, well made and resists tangles far better than the stock cables. The cable does not suffer from microphone handling noise and has a chin slider to further prevent it as well. The cable is very comfortable as it is so soft and does not have a memory wire. If you wear glasses, this is a big advantage in comfort over the ear.I highly recommend this as an upgrade for KZ earphones. The quality is great, the price is excellent and the sound is clear and powerful. I have purchased more expensive cables elsewhere and the quality of this cable stands up to them. Looks like it is much more expensive. Great price!Kinboofi has other cables available and I will be looking to buy more. Thanks for reading.
