Shrimp Go Crazy for It
The design and packaging look really cool, which is a nice bonus. My shrimp absolutely love this food. As soon as it hits the tank, they dash from the corners and start devouring it. The pellets came super dry and sank instantly once wetted. When they hit the bottom, they softened up and became perfectly mushy for my shrimp to graze on. Great shrimp food overall and super nice value for the money!

Nice cuisine for the bottom feeder
Both the fish and shrimp enjoy this very much. I love how quickly it sinks to the bottom, so the upper fish won't have enough time to catch it.

Great for all shrimps
My Neocaridina shrimp and albino catfish loves them.

My fish like this!
They like this food very much and if you do not overfeed, it is very effective to avoid leftover foods that will affect your water quality.

Yum.
Everyone fights each other for these. The shrimp, snails, and fish all flock over like little vultures to scarf up the pellets. They even smell good to me! The bag looks small but it’s a fair amount of food. Tastes great! Yummy.

Tiny package, not a good value in my opinion
Very small, not a good value for the price in my opinion. I just recived it today - waiting to feed my shrimp for it to arrive. I thought they will be hungry & run for this food- by other reviews So far i havent seen any shrimp running for the food, time will tell. But i do not think i will be purchasing it again- i feel the price for the tiny amount i received is not worth it. I just do not see the value. I have 5 other varieties of high end shrimp food, also pricey but much, much larger & in bottles - a lot more food for the price.

TWO very important points
1. Is copper in large quantities dangerous for shrimp? Most definitely. Is a trace amount of copper safe for shrimp? Absolutely. Shrimp blood is copper-based unlike human blood. Consequently, they actually can benefit from a very small amount of it. Hikari is very well regarded for their high quality food so of course they're not going to put dangerous amounts of copper in these pellets. I wish people would stop disparaging them for this reason. 2. It is a great idea to use a feeding dish in a shrimp tank. When I place food in that dish, I use a piece of tubing to direct it into the dish. After the food disintegrates and it's uneaten, you can suck it out with a turkey baster, thus preventing fouling up the tank by having the food fall down under the gravel. Any small dish will do. No need to spend a lot of money. The shrimp will learn to come to the dish very quickly. In conclusion, I believe this is a very high quality food and my shrimp can't get enough of it.

Blue Dream (and snail) Approved!
Been feeding this to my Neos, alongside ShrimpKing pellets, for over 6 months now. Happy to say that my original batch of 10 has multiplied! Snails are also thriving, and they seem to love the pellets more than the Neos. Some small gripes and cautions, the pellets will take a few seconds to float down to the bottom. To avoid a mess, what I do instead is use some planting tweezers to manually place pellets onto the feeding dish at the bottom of my tank.
