Easy to lay. Quality product.
The media could not be loaded. So I’ve used just the thick trash bag like liner and also the foam type liner in other rooms and I definitely prefer this even though it was more expensive. Lays out pretty easy and has the attached two sided tape strips between sections. Durable through the inevitable mallet misses. I bought underlayment tape but only needed it for one section because I accidentally separated a section by directly sliding a board into the taped section. Cutting with a razor was a pain because of the thickness and ended up with little pieces of the underneath section with the cuts. Figured out though if you just cut it with common kitchen shears works great like cutting thick paper. Apparently I was doing it the “hard” way. After completion floor feels more cushioned than the other rooms. As far as sound dampening I couldn’t tell you because we are in a one story house. If I do any more rooms in my house, will buy again.

Placed under a floating bamboo floor.
The particular floating floor that I installed has a tendency to be creaky so I read that a good quality underlayment could help. After doing a little research I decided to go with Quietwalk. I used several other types of underlayment in the past, mostly the thin foam padding. I really like this particular underlayment, it does feel to be more sturdy and it's definitely thicker, but not by much. I used it over a concreate subfloor which is fine but I think it would work great over a wood subfloor especially on a second floor where you want to keep noise down. The installation of it was easy and straight forward, just remember, blue side up! Quality product!

Pretty good.
Dense padding, one of the higher rated sound absorption underlayments. Relatively easy to install, though it was difficult to cut with carpet knife--scissors may be easier. Rated for hardwood. It was an overall good investment I think. Only issue I had was they had shipped out QuietWalk and not Quietwalk Plus so I had to exchange 1 of the 4. Double check to make sure you get the right one....warranty and density are different on the QuietWalk and the Quietwalk Plus.

Easy to install, very quiet!!
We did a lot of research for our underlayment. Quietwalk is one of the top 5. Reasonable price, easy to installed..very good material. First, I wanted to try with the hallway. I was impressed eventually order another 3 rolls for the whole house.

Used a lot of this, good quality
We used on the whole floor of a basement before flooring over it. Several bedrooms, a hallway, closet and large area with the heating appliances. Nice cushion under the flooring, does not move around. Very easy to install

Very easy to use and works great as a vapor and noise barrier.
Cuts easily, and it has its own built-in tape to connect parallel sections, so no separate underlayment tape is necessary for installation. Have used this product several times already for separate rooms, and I will be using it again for future LVP installations.

Good Quality, Fast Shipping
We had used Quiet walk products years ago when we first started remodeling our home. They have held up beautifully and did everything they were supposed to do. So, when we wanted to finish the rest of the floors in the house we knew we wanted Quiet Walk products again. The only complaint I have is the adhesive that comes with it to connect the layers is a wrinkly mess and just becomes frustrating. It may be user error, but 3 of us tried and all of us ended cursing and frustrated. We decided to go over it with duct tape and it's great. It just would be really nice if it was a better system trying to stick it together so one didn't have to also purchase duct tape. Also wanted to note that the shipping was great. We've bought twice from the same distributor and projected arrival was 10-14 days later but both times they've arrived with in 3 days and that was SOOOO helpful!!! Thanks so much for the great service!

OK product, with some issues
I ordered 5 rolls of this product for my living /dining/kitchen remodel. The floor is in, and maybe the product is helping with footfall noise... hard to tell. Some things they don't mention in the product description:- It has kind of a gritty quality to the foam component, feels dirty. Like carpet pad.- One of my rolls was inexplicably 3 inches wider than the others, meaning the tape edge did not line up correctly.- There was greasy oil you could feel on your hands on the vapor barrier inside some of the rolls, with an oily odor accompanying it.- There were occasional hard lumps inside the foam component, a big no-no trying to create a level floor- The vapor barrier was sloughed off or otherwise compromised in locations. Make sure to have vapor barrier tape on hand to repair (you'll need it anyway.)- I question whether this Amazon store is sending factory seconds of this product, or whether all these manufacturing problems are business as usual. For something made to get buried inside a floor, and at a low price, it seems like overall acceptable, thus the 3 stars.
