Great buy!
Have had these shoes for 6+ months now and over 160 miles running in them and they still look like I pulled them out of the box. The heel/toe drop is higher than I normally like, but once I'm running I don't notice it that much. Overall fit was great, they are comfortable, and have been more durable than any other running shoe I have owned recently. I would buy these and other Mizuno products again.

They have been an excellent shoe and I have about 300 miles on them ...
I have always been an asics guy and my last trip to the running store they got me into a pair of these which I ended up buying on amazon since they didn't have my color choice in store. They have been an excellent shoe and I have about 300 miles on them now. So far, no issues at all with the outer or the insides.Does have a wider toe-box and a softer feel than my asics but a very similar mid foot feel (though slightly roomier just slight).

This is a very good shoe especially if you are flat footed
This is a very good shoe especially if you are flat footed. I typically pronate, and need a lot of support in my shoes, especially for running. I mostly use this for general gym use (treadmill, elliptical machine, free weights) and don't do a lot of high mileage outdoor running. I have been a Mizuna fan and normal run in the Wave Creation, but this was a more economical purchase. It is not as cushioned as you would expect, however, because it is mainly a supportive shoe, it is not intended to be a "softer" feel. Overall, great purchase.

One of My Favorites
This running shoe fit perfectly and offers great support. I usually purchase Nike or Reebok but this shoe was offered a price too good to pass up. Glad I made the purchase and I will definitely include Mizuno for future purchases. It's a quality product and I expect that it will be durable over time. I'm 100% satisfied with this shoe.

Great support for a lot better price.
Haven't worn these for my weekly runs yet, so I'll update when I've gotten a few long ones in. I do notice that these are slightly narrower than the Wave Inspire 11's a little tighter around the lower heel. Not a problem for me, and they feel fine. I'm hoping the supposed extra cushion in this model is noticeable. I'm a longtime Asics Kayano wearer, and finally tired of paying so much for a shoe that although provided great pronation support (I use Superfeet blue inserts as well) and were super comfortable, the weight and clunkiness annoyed me. These Mizunos are a lot lighter, and have the same support, and you can usually find them for half the price of Asics. My 11's have served me great this summer, and I finally wore the heels off, so we'll see how this newer model holds up.

Just the running support I need
Great shoe! I am a 3-4 days/week runner and typically cover 10-15 miles/week. I have mild plantar fasciitis and need shoes with good stability. These mizunos have been my shoe of choice for the past 10 years. I have occasionally been talked into trying other brands but I always come back to this model. If you are looking for a good stability shoe try this one. I recommend going to a local running store to try this against others. Once you decide on this shoe you will likely get a better deal ordering here than at the store.

Sadly disappointed. Hoping it gets better
I have previously run in the wave inspire 9s and 11s. I didn't by th 10s due to the durability issues of the upper fabric. I still think the 9s were the best but the 11s were also a good shoe. My problem with the 11s is a mild lack of cushion in the forefoot, but otherwise a good shoe. I was excited about the 12s since a slight increase in cushioning was added to the forefoot area but after my first run in them a little disappointed. The shoe feels overall bigger in size and more stiff than the previous model. Into the second mile my left arch started aching and both feet had a burning sensation. At that point, I knew this is going to be my low mileage shoe. I got away from asics due to the same burning sensation I experienced when I run in them. I bought 2 pairs and sending the one I didn't use back. Maybe get a 1/2 size smaller since they feel like they are running big. I would suggest trying them on for correct size before purchasing. I will update review after a few more runs to see if they just need to be broken in. I hope that is the case. I really want to like these shoes.

Comfortable and light running shoe.
I've been using Mizuno Inspire for four years -- since I started running. So obviously I'm pretty satisfied with them. Nice and light. Comfortable. If your ankle sock is too short, however, it might aggravate or blister your heel (happened to me once).
