Plant Umbrellas for Outdoor Plants, Garden Umbrella Shade for Potted Plants and Garden Beds, Provide Shade to ‌Defend Plants From Blazing Sun

We have a few outdoor cats, and where they hang out and eat is exposed to the elements. It's not a good spot for a regular patio umbrella so I started looking for a mini umbrella to put up for them. These are perfect. They keep the cats shaded or dry. They are well made, quality items. We don't use the yard stake bottom ,just the post parts. Highly recommend for any small things you are trying to protect

I’m using these on some “delicate” plants in a (exterior) Northeastern exposure. I’ve only needed 1 umbrella so far, but with the reduced strong sun and additional umbrellas, I will have them as I need them. They are working well for me (and my delicate small flowering bushes). The umbrellas are quite durable in the sun and wind and they look great in the window box.

The quality is a bit flimsy. But for the price, you can’t complain too much. I wish there is green color instead of blue so it blends in with my landscape better. The top umbrella part is just fitted on and not screwed on to the post. So it falls off a lot when there is a slight wind. But when there is no wind, it works well for shading my newly planted hostas from the harsh TX sun in the summer. I hope these can last longer than one season.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I needed shade for a few plants from the hot Texas sun. These are cute and easy to use. As all umbrellas you have to take them down during wind storms or they’ll blow away. Wish they came in more colors!

I haven’t used these yet because I’ve been waiting for the summer sun to protect some plants. But I did look them over and they do seem to be good quality and I like the way I can use them in the ground to protect my plants from the sun. How long they will last being in the sun I do not know yet. But for the price, I figured it was worth a shot and I couldn’t really find many that went in the ground the way I wanted. And with the size wanted so definitely worth trying.

I purchased this set of 3 umbrellas for my outdoor potted plants that were yellowing from excess light and heat exposure in the Arizona summer. I have had them for a few weeks now and my plants seem healthier with the added UV protection and shade.

DO NOT BUY - This product isn’t worth a dime. So the rod part of comes in three parts and the two of 3 screw together which is perfect, the third rod with the umbrella does not screw, totally insane, and the manufacturer knows it doesn’t stay together for two seconds bc the instructions say to glue it! Total worthless poor made product! DO NOT BUY

They're nice in theory, and certain give a cheerful summertime appearance, but they're so light and flimsy that anything more than a slight breeze pulls the whole umbrella out of the ground and sends it flying down the street. Instead of putting a tiny note saying "you might want to super glue", make the product durable and dont use the super cheap metal that everything coming from China seems to have. Ultimately get what you pay for, so if you want something cheap thats style over function, you'll be fine--but don't expect to use this more than one season.
