WORKS GREAT
CLEANS BETTER THAN ALL OTHER PRODUCTS TRIED. TRAPS THE ALGAE AND DOES NOT SCRATCH THE GLASS. DO NOT USE ON LEXAN AQUARIUMS. GLASS ONLY.

Good for glass
I got the pad for cleaning acrylic tanks, and it works very well on glass too. I was getting some kind of stubborn algae the snails couldn't clean off that looked like condensation on the outside but it was really stuff growing on the inside, and this sponge gets it off. The sponge is thick, and large enough to cut into smaller squares that are easier to use.

Removes algae well, a bit awkward to use
First I would say this is made very well. It has a nice sturdy long handle and the scrubbing pad is thick and a very good scrubber. The issue for me is the thickness of the padding overall. It can be pretty tricky to get between the glass and plants, decorations etc. I am also not sure how well the angle of the scrubber to handle works. I tend to have to use it holding it just one way, if I try the other side of the padding I can only go down so far on the glass before I hit plants or decorations with the handle. One thing is that it does not scratch the glass, and if you have some heavy duty algae you can really get in there and scrub hard and it will come off. I alternate this scrubber with a magnetic scrubber. They both have their pluses and minuses.

You WON'T GUESS what this is GREAT for !! ;-)
I briefly had a 5 gallon aquarium but, without prior experience, it got ahead of me and I eventually gave up on it. I turned it into a easy care, fake succulent terrarium. No work, well lit, looked great and just had to dust the cover. But the glass scrubber stayed with me. It's now seven years later and my 'think out of the box mind' found great new uses. First it worked nicely in the tub, but I recently I started to use it as a TOILET BOWL BRUSH! No kidding! Now it's been used to the point where it needs replacement and I will buy two--one for the toilet, another for the tub. I'll mark one with nail polish to distinguish them. The reason I love it for the toilet is the shape and no bristles. Since it is slightly angled and FLAT, it scrubs UNDER the rim like nothing else. And without bristles, it doesn't splatter water drops all over the place! Bristles for me don't hit the bowl surface or scrub as well, either. In my case, it also fits the throat of the toilet perfectly making cleaning so much efficient.Who woulda thunk?

Worked great for my small tank
Easy to use. Didn’t scratch our acrylic tank. Easily got the algae off our decorations. The sponge is not very big and I do have a small aquarium (3 gallon) so it didn’t take me long. If you had a big tank this may not be as efficient. The sponge is maybe a tiny bit smaller than a kitchen sponge. It didn’t cost much so it was a good value for the money to me.

Surprisingly effective
I have a tall bowfront tank and wanted something to keep my elbows dry with algae scraping. This thing is totally worth the price vs the cheaper options.Maybe because this is specifically for glass, but it's very effective. A couple swipes and the algae is off. Then a nice big water change.

Very effective
Brilliant product, very effective at removing algae from acrylic tank. No scratches, couple of passes and the tank was clean. Could also cut up in to smaller pieces to clean more fiddly areas, used on the end of a small plastic rod to reach bottom of tank without having to move fish out or put hand in the water

Works OK
This well on the glass of my 20 gal aquarium. The extra angle on the brush helps get a better angle on the glass.
