Easy to install
We have this closet system in two of our closets at home. It is easy to install and took us only about an hour to do it. It’s been so helpful in organizing our closets and really making more space for things!

Sturdy closet system
We have the ikea closet system in two of our bedrooms but decided to try this one in the third. The instructions are easy to follow and it’s well made. For the most secure construction I would recommend buying stronger drywall anchors because the ones it comes with aren’t the best. The add on attachments like baskets are also pretty pricy. I would definitely recommend it if your looking for something simple though.

Good enough for an average closet
I have used this shelving several times in the past and keep buying more when needed. The hardware is strong enough for an average closet but it it just a smidge on the light duty side. The metals are just barely strong enough to hold your things, but when heavily loaded you will see a lot of flexing and twisting. For the price, I would say they are reasonably good for the job but they will not overly impress you if you tend to overload you shelves. It says that it is not required to mount the vertical hangers into the studs, but I will say that if you do, you will find the end result far more stable. I always mount the verticals into the studs for maximum strength.

Easy to install and works great.
Very easy to install, directions were clear and easy to follow. Works great, customizable, and sturdy enough to hold my teenage daughters excessive wardrobe. Track system is much better than the old wire shelves with brackets.

Closet organizer
I really like my product but I have a Hugh closet. We are able to use some of the piece as a shelf separate from my cloths racks.

More space
Once the supports were screwed into the wall, this was a breeze. I had to remove some things from the original setup and had a hard time with the supports, but in total it took 90 minutes from starting the supports to adding clothing. Im not sure if this initial setup will work but have the ability to change it as needed (though I think I'm pretty set on where the supports are--that was a bit annoying--but it could in theory be changed if you don't mind more holes)

Contents of the 2-4 ft kit
I originally bought the 6-10 ft extension, loved it, and wanted a bit more pieces but couldn’t buy them separately. The 2-4 ft kit was only $75 so I took I chance I could scavenge it for pieces.I looked everywhere for a list of what pieces are in the 2-4ft and couldn’t find it anywhere— so for those also wondering—2 shelves, 6 small (25 in) uprights, 4 upright connectors, 2 x 26” hang bars, 4 hooks for hang bars, 4 locking brackets and then assorted hardware. As of the time of this posting the pictures without any clothes on them are the ones you could make with this kit and no extra pieces/add-ons.I love the Rubbermaid fast track closet—I turned a bedroom into a dressing room, used the 6-10 ft + 2-4 ft + 4 sliding drawers and have the closet of my dreams. My husband hung it for me and indicated it was easy—I’m not terribly comfortable around tools so I will say it would have been harder for me to do. As some reviews mention, you do have to be pretty exact in your measurements but the directions are specific.

2x the space. Like it better than ClosetMaid
There is not a lot of storage space in my house. All the closets had the standard 1 rod for clothes and the rod to low to the ground. I'm small (only 5 feet tall) and my long dresses would hang on the ground.I ordered this Rubbermaid system after reading the reviews, seeing the price, and wanting to see the differences between Rubbermaid and ClosetMaid. I installed a ClosetMaid shelving system a few months back for extra storage in my office. The two companies make extremely similar products. I could probably mix up most of the parts from the two companies and not be able to tell who made what. They are both made out of strong material, look nice once installed and can hold a lot of weight.Installation took about 2 1/2 hours for me to do alone with either brand. It was difficult for me to put the top shelf track up alone because you need to install it around 7feet high up on the wall, level, then fit screws through the track and into the wall. If there are studs in the wall where you want the screws you can drill thought the track but if there are no studs you need wall anchors. With both systems the anchors need to line up exactly with the holes in the track. This was not the easiest thing to do alone so get a friend to hold the track level while you mark the wall for the studs. If you do it alone like I did just double or triple check your makings before you drill and you won't make any mistakes. The track took about 1 hour to put up alone because it is hard to hold something level so high up and make the accurate measurements needed but if you have help it should maybe take 15 minutes. The rest of installation was fast and easy.****When you do installation, get more anchors for the walls than what is provided with the kit unless you have a lot of studs in your wall. Anchors will help keep the system secure and keep it from falling down. My closet only had 2 studs I could use and the kit had only 9 anchors. Anchors are inexpensive! I got a pack for under $10 and used 6 more for a total of 12 anchors. Each anchor can support 50lbs so I never need to worry about the system falling down. This can be a worry because clothes are very heavy! The fewer studs you have use more anchors. So why do I like the Rubbermaid system over the ClosetMaid?1) Rubbermaid kit was $65 on amazon, ClosetMaid was over $100 at my local hardware store but they had no kits. They have the same number of shelves, same storage.2) When making my office closet I knew the width I wanted my shelves so they would fit all the way across the back wall of my closet was 55". At the store ClosetMaid had 4 choices on size 36", 48", 72", and 96". I had 2 choices, I could get the 48" and have a 7" gap or I could get the 72" and cut it down to the size I wanted. I decided to cut the 72". I had the same problem with the shelf track so I once again had to get the longer piece. I tried to have the hardware store cut it, but because the shelf was metal and wide they would not do it. I had to buy a hand saw and cut it at home it took 20-30 to cut everything the sizes I wanted.Rubbermaid has an overlapping designed for both the track and shelves. No cutting was needed and it was the perfect size I wanted.RATINGS:ClosetMaid **** no adjustments on shelve width and the higher price tag but nice system. Doubled my closet!!Rubbermaid ***** adjustable, easy, good looking, no complaints. Doubled my closet!!If you have a closet width of 36", 48", 72", and 96", or something close then ClosetMaid is a good buy but I was not able to find another system that was as nice and inexpensive as Rubbermaid. Believe me I looked!

Small space~living solution.
I have a small double bedroom with very limited space and I was searching around for an open space clothing solution. My American Girlfriend told me about Rubbermaid. This order arrived within 3 days of the order placement. The product is robust, stylish and well finished. There are many combos shown which helps if your not visual about these things. I have checked out other similar products via the internet , but all in all, this one is the right solution for my needs at the right price and with a fantastically fast delivery service.Product rating: 10/10......Amazon rating: 10/10(Thank you Team Amazon:) Norman W

Poor quality control, doesn’t actually fit in a 3’ closet like it says.
It says for closets 3-6’ wide. Our closet is 36 1/2” and this does not fit in the closet. The shelf’s which are supposed to be 36.25” are actually 36 and 3/8” and 36 1/2” (both are different lengths...talk about poor quality control). I’m super frustrated because I already took out the old shelf and rod from the closet so now have a closet that is completely useless. Not super impressed with this unit at all.

Easy to install and looks great
I have a 4.5' wide 7' tall closet. This pack works in terms of size for my closet, I do love how it looks but I was hoping for more room for shelves/drawers. For my configuration there's about a foot and a half from ceiling to top shelf. I think if I had bought one more box it would give me the flexibility to really meet my needs. I do absolutely love how easy it is to put together, my mom and I installed it together and she'd never used a power drill before.
