Great quality item, easy to connect with the tuya app

I used this relay to smarten up my landscape lighting controller. The very first thing I noticed is the wire connections appear to only accept very small gauge wire, like #16AWG or smaller. Fortunately, and with the use of a small screwdriver, I was able to get solid strand #12AWG seated and tightened down. Next, and like another reviewer pointed out, I realized the case is a POS. It's molded to block access to the micro USB port. I took it apart and clearanced it with my bench grinder, but then the end caps don't seat. It's not a deal-breaker, but it should have really been thought out. Connection to the Tuya app was fast and seamless - I already use it for some other lighting controllers, but it's very user-friendly. I had my two zones up and running in no time, and it's totally compatible with Alexa. For the money, this is a no-brainer. Still, I dinged it a star for the idiotic case.

Worked great to make my old garage door opener a remote smart opener.

This works perfect in my truck so I can remotely control my lights. Get the smart life app and it will find this board , you will need wifi to get it enrolled for the first time, then it will run on Bluetooth the rest of the time. You can label each button too.

Piece of junk. Will not stay connected to Wifi. This was the case on two separate units. They both would initially connect and operate as they should and then drop off of Wifi at different periods. Tried resetting the devices several times, but they still did not remain connected to Wifi.

Works but does not have "inching" function. I followed directions provided in Rufus as follows: 1. Open the Smart Life or Tuya app on your phone 2. Select your relay device 3. Go to the device settings or mode configuration 4. Switch from "Self-locking" mode to "Inching" mode 5. Set your inching time (the relay will stay on for 1 second to 1 hour depending on your setting) 6. Save your changes But, at step 4, there is no "Inching" mode listed. Only the "Self-locking" mode is shown. So, this devise is useless for my project.

So far so good. It has been working like a charm for my garage door opener. A great replacement for the Chamberlain one that seems to disconnect every six months to a year and takes days to reconnect or in my case to not connect at all this last time round. I wish I would’ve known about this product a long time ago. Also, very nice to be able to use it with Google voice commands which chamberlain did not allow. I recommend using a secret word so that a would be thief is not able to shout a command that might get picked up by a speaker inside and open the door. That being said, a secret password is great for just that reason in case you are locked out or would like to give access to a friend.

Small profile and works like a charm. This is exactly what I needed to program/operate my 4 zone irrigation sprinkler system by controlling 24vac to the sprinkler valves. Much cheaper than any available smart sprinkler controller at above $120. I use Smartlife app for Home Automation to control the time intervals down to the minute. This unit also incorporates a available option to only allow only 1 of the 4 outputs to be energized at the same time. Now I can control this from anywhere in the world. The only thing you have to consider is this is designed to be mounted on a "DIN rail, any any other way you'd have to MacGiver. Just Google DIN RAIL if your unfamiliar.
