11 feet 6 inches focus distance
These binoculars represent the optimal choice within their price range. They are compatible with eyeglasses and, despite their lightweight design, provide an expansive field of view, surpassing other models I have evaluated. The accompanying carrying case is of high quality, and the binoculars themselves possess a balanced weight that minimizes hand tremor. Their optical clarity is commendable given the price point, making them an excellent entry-level option for budget-conscious consumers. My objective was to identify the best performing binoculars under $100, with a preference for even lower cost. I believe they would serve as an excellent gift, particularly due to their ability to resolve avian subjects at distances under 12 feet, a significant improvement over most budget alternatives that typically require distances exceeding 15 feet.

Great for bird watching
I have an older pair of binoculars that are more powerful and also a lot heavier. My wife and I recently got into bird watching and so I decided to get a new one. This is much lighter and very easy to use. It has lens caps that are hinged for the bottom lenses and one that attaches to the strap for the top lenses. That means they are always there and while they might get in the way, they are difficult to lose. The instructions are somewhat goofy, expecially the part about the diopter for adjustment if your eyes are not exactly the same or if you wear glasses. In my experience, the only one called a diopter is the one you can adjust on the right eyepiece. The instructions call both that and also the normal focusing ring the diopters which is confusing. The instructions are also a bit too 'cutesy" for me. I would skip the cutesy part and make the instructions clear, but maybe that's just me. In general the binocs are great and a great deal. They are high quality, waterproof, lightweight and easy to use. You could pay a lot more for the same level of quality and if you are looking for birds these are just the power and field of view that you need. I can highly recommend these.

Great choice for youngsters..A decent, usable pair
I was looking for a sensibly priced, usable binocular for my 8 yo Grandson. In tool terms, not a Festool, but not Harbor Freight either. And if this were a tool, it could be Bosch, maybe even Makita. Nice for $47. It does what its supposed to do without obvious defects. There are no 'double images' from poor collimation. No obvious chromatic aberration, even though not ED glass. Smooth focus wheel. All of these BTW were problems with the $64 Celestron Outland X I tried first - and am returning. Mine came with a manual, and there is a 1/4-20 socket for tripod adapter when you unscrew the front center cap. Why four stars? Abysmal poor shipping packaging - the factory box was slipped into an unpadded plastic Amazon bag. I expected the worst - but all was ok Hopefully, you will be as fortunate.

Just as good as the big name brands
It’s exactly what I was looking for. Great product! Works well in low light. Not too big or heavy. Magnifies well 100 yards and in.

Wow!!!!
I had my Zeiss binocs stolen recently. I did not want to spend thousands of dollars to replace them and was quite worried that the Hontry binocs would be a big disappointment after using Zeiss glass. But I am blown away by the quality of these. It is amazing. Decent image quality. Decent adjustments. And more. Also, I can get clear focus at 10 feet which is pretty close to what I got with my Zeiss binocs. But these were one twentieth of the price of Zeiss Conquests. That's right. One twentieth of the price is Zeiss. Don't get me wrong. You can't do better than Zeiss. And if you want to pay the money, you won't be disappointed in Zeiss glass. But for literally one twentieth the price, these are exceptional value. I almost can't believe it. These are so far beyond my expectation. Don't expect these to be as good with color accuracy, low light effectiveness or clarity at the edges (chromatic aberration). Not even close. But for basic needs, these are great value.

One of the best sub $100 set of binoculars
I own alot of binoculars ( over 50 sets) I bought these to review them for my YouTube channel, i expected cheap, low quality binoculars, I was wrong. If your on a tight budget or need binoculars for the truck - these are very good, most of my binoculars are several hundred dollars ,these don't compete with them , but they are as good as the Vortex Crossfire HD at 1/3 the price. Buy and enjoy. Ive had these for several months now and these are not a cheap quantity binocular, ive digiscoped them along with binoculars in the $100 to $200 ,it really makes me laugh. They are solidly built, there are not even ugly. Feel real good in the hand, comfortable eyecups. I'm currently building a YouTube channel that will review both inexpensive (cheap) binoculars with those that cost hundreds more. It will all be backed up with pictures from each. I hope it will give people an idea on what they will get from their hard earned cash. I hope to help those get a good pair ,even if they don't have a large budget. Also some binoculars from$200 down are not worth spending your money on.

Excellent Clarity, Brightness, and Field of View!
I bought these binoculars for my teenage son who has recently started birdwatching as a hobby. These binoculars were well priced and met all the technical recommendations for beginning birders put forth by The Audubon Guide to Binoculars. We are very pleased with the way the binoculars look, their sleek design and solid construction, and with their functionality. My 18-year old son was able to adjust the binoculars to meet his viewing needs within minutes of unwrapping them. He has used them extensively over the last two weeks and continues to be very pleased with the clarity and brightness of the vision and the wideness of its field of view. The budget friendly price is a bonus! This is a high quality product that I would recommend to anyone looking to get started with birdwatching.

A unknown brand to me, but reassuringly heavy and well made and easy to use with a central focussing control. These binoculars are 10 x magnification but crucially a good 42 mm front optic size (that's what the 10 x 42 means). The amount of light gathering is as important as the magnification factor. Binoculars can be very expensive and I would give these a score of 6/10 - which is quite high - for optical quality and these are a good compromise of size, compactness, quality and performance. This is an unknown brand to me but I can endorse the quality and price. Very good value. My experience with the binoculars suggested that the multicoated optics give good control of coma and chromatic aberration.

These are excellent binoculars. I can't comment much on price Vs others, but for what you get and the quality I would say they offer great value. You get a really nice, snug, carry case and the binoculars come with a cloth wipes a neck strap and covers for both ends to avoid scratches. Using and setting them up is really easy with the instructions. I'd never set up binoculars for myself before but found this very easy. The magnification seems perfect to me, for bird watching. I can cmsee crystal clear across an entire field, and adjust it so that something much closer is also in focus. They're a nice weight, not too heavy, and they are very comfortable in the hand and adjust lots for different eyes and faces. Overall I'm so pleased with these. I keep them in the car for times where we stop and there's something of interest.
