True 1000 watts! And unique spectrum.
Great light. Pulls 1086 watts from the wall. Excited to use this unique spectrum. Lots of red. They are generous with the 660mn and IR leds. Plants are adapting easily from switching from a Vivosun vsfd6500 650 watt bar style light. The only other bar style grow light I can find with the BG10's spectrum is the medicgrow fold8 with the upgrade flower spectrum, which is a $1600 upgrade on an already $280 light. Seems a bit pricey for a spectrum upgrade but that's what they want for it, and it doesn't have the additional 437nm blue that the BG10 has. Going to do a full run from veg through flower then update. I have a feeling l won't be disappointed but we shall see. The first spectrum picture is of the medicgrow Fold8 with their U1 spectrum upgrade and the second picture is of the BG10. Hope this helps.

First of all, it's well put together. I think it's going to do well. It's too early to tell or replace the light after we getting the flower so we'll see. I will update before the money.... You better grab it. It's like that bright ASF 😎 detach driver is a blessing because it gets hot. I have a fan on it outside the tent. I do need to ask them about disconnecting the cables cuz they didn't look like they wanted to come all the way loose so I left them alone and just fed the cable through my big vent hole

A pretty good light, for the price.
Being that this appeared to be one of the first grow lights using separate (Royal) Blue and Red Diodes, I figured I would check it out and see how it compared to the very questionable competition. At the time of this review there was a 40$ coupon, bringing down the price to 129$, a very competetive price considering the footprint and efficacy. For that price you get a ridiculously bright fixture, with a Sosen(!) driver, no less, unlike everyone else in the price range; I will withhold names, but you probably know who they are, who use unbranded drivers. The overall build quality is good, or equal, to what you expect most bar-style lights to be. I can't really test whether the triangular heatsink is any more efficient than the rest, as I have nothing to compare it to, but it does its job.The PPFD chart they provide on the product page seems to be accurate, in so far as I can test general Lux conversions.Overall, at the price of 129$, with these diodes, coverage, a well-known driver, and an ETL listing, this is by far one of the most competitive offerings for bar style lights in this price range.

Quality grow light
Very nice light. Well made. The dimming is smooth from 0 to 100 not incremental settings(25, 50, 75, 100). Plants responded well. Upgraded from an electric sky 180. The light is in a 27x27 spider farmer grow tent. I am a big believer in putting a bigger light then needed that way during flower cycle the light isnt maxed out its dialed back to 70%. I have multiple other grow tents with mars hydro sp3000's and Spider farmer se3000 evo. I would say this light is on/ par with these level of lights.I put a fan on the light as the ballast is not removable. My tent Temps are around 23(in flower)with outer room Temps around 20.Diodes appear to be high end and it comes with a sosen driver(well known led driver manufacture). Par levels are accurate to what is shown online. This is a nice led grow light in a hard to find 200 watt bar style.I would definitely recommend this light.

This light works well but does not include any automation or management...
This light is being used in a 4x4 grow tent. It's sized perfectly to utilize all of the tent space. Coverage and spread is very good. The led combination of lights provides the environment with more than adequate coverage and spread. The switch allows you to dim the light all the way up and all the way down. Quality seems decent as I have run is for nearly 250 hours without a problem. LED lights have come a long way in the grow space and this light has kept pace with light technology but I have a big problem with what it can't do independently. What I am bothered by is that it has no way to automate the lights function through a controller or, as we have seen the prevalence of smart phone apps, an app. There is no reason these lights should not include an interface, app or controller within a product sold for the purpose of growing. We know the importance of consistency and without some way to automate, you do it manually or by introducing more technology to an environment where space is already limited and to have to add an additional interface to perform automated functions is just another point that can fail or cause problems. All grow lights should include the ability to automate and change any parameters of the lights function. I am neutral on a recommendation because the quality is good but I can 't overlook the lack of automation and remote status/function of the light.

Very nice light, super bright, & I love the infinitely dimmable option.
Nice light, bright, seems like a great value for the cost.I love the fact I can adjust it to any brightness I want w/o preset 24%/50%/75%/100% settings. While I don't yet have other compatible lights that I can "Daisy-chain", I'm a huge fan of doing that where possible to simplify wiring & controls.Intending to use this for starting seedlings & growing them big enough to transplant to our garden, I cannot fully speak to how well "adult" plants respond to this light. But so far, the seedlings & some spider plants (as test subjects) seem to do well w/ this light.I do not have a lux meter or light analyzer, so I cannot speak to the brightness accuracy or color spectrum. But visually, it definitely appears very bright on 100%.Loving this light so far, as it's giving us the chance to start our garden seedlings sooner by utilizing a quality light indoors to start them off.
