great little device.
Great Little mini pc. Plenty of ideas, use cases, functionality out of a N100 4C/4T chip. Originally purchased for $139 and it was a bargain. The currently listed price as of Novemnber 2025 is $159.99 and for $10-15 more you can get a faster chip (more cores and threads) and 2.5GBE (ethernet) and possibly USB C/4. Not shying away from this one, it runs cool, efficient and does the job. User replaceable/up-gradable SSD and RAM (DDR4, is cheap!) Specs say 1 2280 and 1 SO-DIMM (not verified as i have NOT taken it apart yet) But even at 1 stick its great for a small office PC, running proxmox for docker/ct's or a test environment. Limit for 2280 SSD would be speed, you could throw a 4TB SSD in here, but again the SSD would be cost more than the device. Dual 1 GBE nics, WIFI and BT integrated gives all the networking connectivity and speed you could ask for out of small package. Stacks easily on any device/shelf. Overall really love the little device, waiting for price to drop again to buy another (or 2) as they are super efficient at just under 20w. More power and x86 platform makes these ideal compared to a pi. search YT for a Oumax review and unboxing

Perfect solution for a home lab with Proxmox
I use this small mini PC for my homelab and installed proxmox on it. It runs several VMs including Home Assistant. I did upgrade the memory to 32GB and it has been running without any issues. Powerfull enough to run a couple of Debian servers and Home Assistant.

Uses Realtek NICs; fine for a desktop but not great for a mini-server.
Seems to be of good build quality. I was hoping to use this is a mini server but this uses Realtek RTL8168 NICs which aren't supported by VMware. This is an unfortunate deal breaker for me. Realtek NICs are fine for a Linux mini-server or using it as a desktop machine but not for what I need. I like the convenience of the built-in power supply for a desktop application. I wish the seller had noted the LAN chip-set so that I could have verified compatibility before purchase.

CCP Issues
Seemed perfect, except the Self installing Win 11. Trying to Call home, HK( China) never heard Microsoft Had a Windows Distribution Server There! Interestingly enough, waiting to hear from Intel, As “ Oumax “ has no connection to Intel! Fios DD’s aren’t compatible with Intel’s ( own hW)! Wireshark , Malware, Based, Attempting to Bring MB & Hardware Back to Factory!

Really small and fast
A lot of power in a small package. This was the perfect upgrade for an older PC. out with a power hungry computer and in with a low voltage mini PC. It runs all the things we need quite well.
