Korg GA-50 Guitar/Bass Tuner w/ Memory Backup and Auto Power-Off Function

Unbelievable to find a name-brand tuner at this price point, particularly with its list of features! No compromises on quality either. Extremely compact, will fit anywhere while in use or in transit. Quickly finds pitch accurately, with an easy-to-read illuminated display. Has an internal mic, so not necessary to plug in - or can tune acoustic instruments as well! And the built-in kickstand is super convenient to better see the readout. Only possible negative is that it operates solely on batteries, no external source possible. But should not be much of an issue with typical home/amateur/semi-professional applications. Battery life is exceptional at a rating of 135 hours! Overall impressed with the Korg GA-50 tuner...highly recommend!!

Excellent tuner for electric guitar and bass!I’ve been using clip-on tuners. They are great and easy to use but sometimes have a hard time scanning the notes especially the low E.This tuner is great because it’s stable and easily recognizes the notes. Not a chromatic tuner though. I highly recommend this one if you’re adjusting intonation on your guitar. It also has an output jack and can be lined to the amp or effects. True bypass.

Great gadget for acoustic electric and electric guitars as it will pick up on12th fret tuning Doesn't work quite as well (random tone detections) when used as stand alone, batteries only. It is well worth the money if you set it up for use (in line) with an amplifier. Battery compartment is easy to open (just follow the thumb arrow on the back of the unit).

This tuner works very well for guitar tuning and seems to be pretty versatile with the option of cable or direct sound. The minor flaw is the design of the case; it's rounded on the top side and is absolutely maddening to try to pick up from a flat surface as your fingers slip off. Like I said, minor flaw but to me it's worth mentioning. Otherwise great product from a well-known brand.

I have a higher end model of this brand and liked it so much that when my nephew needed a tuner for his guitar I didn't question which brand Id get. These tuners work great and make tuning very easy.

Handy little portable with in/out. It's not intended for stage use from what I used of this one for a couple weeks; only due to the lack of variable (or in this case zero) lighting. It is good to have along in a pinch to go along with your other gear. The tuner has the basics for what you need and wallet sized to stuff anywhere.I use my Nux Mighty Plug mp-2 right now mostly and if I:guitar ~~> Korg GA50 ~~> Nux Mighty Plug ~~> headphones, I can go anywhere I want while I am learning to play and still stay in tune.I personally sent it back though and because I decided to upgrade to the Korg CA50 in order to "future proof" my purchase.I recommend both.

I bought this for my husband and he loved it so much he asked me to get another one so he could keep them with his guitars. He said it's very easy to use and works great!
