Cozy Corner: A Calm and Comforting Colouring Book for All Ages (Coco Wyo)

Lovely colouring books you do have to place a backing beneath the pages otherwise the colours will bleed through.

recently bought this colouring book for myself and 1 for my child. it has become a favorite in our house and I've bought more since. The book is filled with fun pictures that are perfect for kids and adults to color. The pictures are bold and simple enough for little hands to color without frustration, but detailed enough. The paper is a nice quality too. thick enough that colouring pens don’t bleed through (see images) . It's kept me entertained.

Do NOT buy if using alcohol markers. They have changed the paper between the early printing a few months ago (001) and the current printing (003) and it is now literally unusable. This is not the same as people commenting it is hungrier than other coco wyo (non penguin ones) it is a much much worse problem. I actually like the penguin paper in the earlier printing and in cozy friends. This one is TERRIBLE. It is incredibly blotchy and ugly and almost impossible to use - we have tried copics, ohuhu and promarkers and none of them work as they should. I never review things on Amazon but am coming here because I am so disappointed. DO NOT BUY in this print run if using alcohol markers. Older reviews are not helpful as earlier print runs of this book use better paper (we have two copies because both me and my daughter colour). Photo shows what a brand new comic marker looks like on it, coloured by someone who has done it a lot. It’s blotchy, grainy and HORRIBLE.

Beautiful book for relaxation, large enough print to be able to colour in felt pens as well as pencils so lovely for all.

Beautiful book but pages are very thin

I love this book because it is the perfect size for colouring. Some books have larger pictures and I think for a child they can seem overwhelming to colour so much. I brought this book for me as I was recovering from surgery and what I like most about it is the pens do not go through to the next page. There is a blank page on the other side of your drawing and it hasn’t gone through to that side which is great but it also means you can keep your masterpieces. Book is super cute and at first, pages feel good quality and thick but are awful for blending with alcohol markers. It sucks the ink up so quickly that it ends up leaving streaks and looking tacky :( not had this problem with other cocowyo books from amazon before

Lovely fun designs, really enjoying them BUT the paper quality in this version of the book published by Penguin is not as fun to colour on, it has more of a waxy texture and it's more difficult to use with alcohol markers than it usually would be, they seem to soak in much faster and not 'spread' well on the pages. Still very doable, but with more effort to achieve the look bought want.
