Power2000 AC Adapter & DC Coupler Kit for Canon DR-E8

This works fine with my Canon T3i, and although one review described it as cheap and flimsy, I wouldn't necessarily agree. I probably own 30 or 40 AC adapters for various products, most of them from the original manufacturer, and I find the build quality of this adapter about average for all of these devices. I don't have Canon's adapter to compare it to -- it could well be better. If I was going to use this every day, I might have gone with the Canon, even though it's three times the price. But this one doesn't seem like it's going to break any time soon, and the connections all fit well -- I can't say that for every adapter I own.

I'm current involved with using my T3i as a streaming camera and I wanted constant power without the worry of batteries failing so, I chose this solution and right out of the box it works flawlessly. Very affordably price and WORKS!!!

This has worked great for me. I've used this on quite a few video shoots where I need my camera (t3i) to run for 1 hour or more (12 minutes at a time of course). I have not had any issues with it. I ended up gaff taping the connector on the cord just for extra security. It probably would have been fine without the tape.

This power adapter has worked great for our Canon T3i DSLR camera. It is really a life saver for long photo or video sessions.At one time, I thought it quit working. I finally realized that it wasn't working because the battery door on the camera was not closed. Once I closed the battery door, it worked fine.

Used this power pack to take an 8 hr. time laps project. This works perfectly. I am somewhat clumsy and dropped then accidentally stepped on it. While I would not recommend this, the Power 2000 survived this ill treatment and worked flawlessly. I have also have an XSi and plan to buy one for it.

These are super convenient because they don't require you to remove the battery in order to move the camera like other cheaper models. This adapter has a short cord which ends close to the camera,which makes it quick to unplug, Move camera to room B, and plug it back in. This is now my third one of these for my Canon T5i and T2i. It works with both

one of the DC cables appears to have caught fire and melted. which doesn't make any sense because i bought it new... but anyway. it works just fine in my T4i... although it feels cheap and crappy there is no other better alternative other than the overpriced canon version.

i have not used this yet but it will be perfect for shooting long timelapses on the canon camera. perfect
