Quick, simple, effective
I know my car will require the exhaust fixed after its upcoming MOT and was able to plug in and confirm in literally 5 minutes (using the free Torque Light app via Bluetooth) that my check engine light (MIL) is on due to a related issue. I can therefore clear the light before the MOT as the exhaust will be fixed anyway and save myself an additional reason for failure (2018 introduced failure for MIL light on steady) and save on garage fees. Not to mention it'll come in handy for all our 2nd hand future cars. Money well spent.

Very basic functions. Does not give full error reports

Neat bit of kit- with a design problem
So assuming you have at least some knowledge of how to use one of these, this is a really useful device. Car recognised it immediately and linked to my smartphone via Bluetooth no problems. Choosing a suitable app is important, using the free versions gives you most of the info you need. Now the big design fault. In my Corsa D, the socket is sunk into the bottom of the dash- there's no room around it which means once you've plugged this in, it's almost impossible to get out again. It should have handle to help pull it out.

Cheap garbage
Only worked for about 5 seconds each time it was plugged in. Replaced with slightly more expensive unit that works all the time. Cheap garbage.

Cheap n Cheerful and it DOES work.
At the price I didn't expect much.Downloaded an app called Torque from the Google Playstore.Paired this little gizmo to my phone and well......I had an engine warning lamp lit on my dashboard and this has picked up on it.It's diagnosed the fault. It has saved a lot of money by not having to go to a garage and pay extortionate money for them to find out. This item under a tenner? You'd be mad not to.It does work.

Such a low cost investment for showing fault codes
Easy to use, easy to set up I recommend torque lite with this obdII... reads fault codes and clears them, item is as described

Causes more issues than it was worth.
Easy setup, app found the device without any problems, biggest issue was the number of additional faults it managed to write to the ECM.

Handy to have in the car just in case
Great tool to help check car faults, but only shows mainly major faults - engine management lights on. However has helped me diagnose a minor issue I could solve myself after car was stalling randomly, and to direct a garage on a problem after OBD gave me the error code and description of issue. A variety of apps to choose from to connect to the OBD through bluetooth. Good price too.
