Perfect for 350Mb Virgin full speed
Recently Virgin Media agreed to up our broadband speed from 120Mb to 350Mb for free, nice! However the 1000mbps powerline system I had in place only went just over 120mbps and I wanted the full speed to our devices. I then tried an uprated powerline kit and still only managed 150mbps. So then I decided to do the dreaded ethernet cable run from the router to the back of the house. Then I found that you could get flat ethernet cable that would be less noticeable to run through the house, my only concern was that because this wire is so thin, then it may still slow the broadband connection. So I decided to risk it and buy this 30m lead and installed it, then I installed the Ookla speed test app on the family desktop, plugged the new ethernet into into a gigabit switch, then into the gigabit port on the back of the pc from the switch, connection was immediately established and a sigh of reliefe. Then with bated breath I ran the speed test and..... Over 388Mb!!! Wow that's a huge difference over the gigabit powerline which capped out at 125Mb.So in short if you're on 200mb plus broadband and want the full speed that you're paying for on all your wired devices. Then this flat cable is excellent, I can't comment on 500mb and above broadband as ours Topps out at just over 380 but I can imagine there is still plenty of headroom in this cable.

Good product
I got fed up working from home and relying on the wifi, so I got this 15m cable. I planned the route from the router, and 15m was just enough. The flat cable makes it very easy to run in various places, and there are 15 of those pins that hold cables down, so I spent a little time tasking it down (or up). The result is not too noticable against a similar coloured background, and the pins have held so far.I don't have equipment to test the bandwidth of the cable at its maximum capability, but suffice to say that I no longer feel throttled by my wifi - everything works perfectly (except the router but that is next on my list).

Super thin
Ran from router in front room to our AV TV stuff in back room. Thin enough to run & hide under skirting (laminate flooring. Had to prise skirting in parts but this is nice & thin so end result EXCELLENT. No more WiFi buffering issues. Worth the effort. Job done

Good quality
Very good cable. If you don't plan to hide it behind boards and roll, unroll it. It will twist, so better buy circular cable. It's Ethernet cable, so I have no clue why amazon is asking for Wi-Fi signal....

Really useful
i use this as an alternative to wifi for an important zoom seminar I am hosting once a week. my zoom studio is up a flight of stairs from my hub, but this cable is just the right length for me to run up to the studio when needed - its a free cable, so I ensure I have made it safe from tripping up on. And after the zoom meet, i go backto wifi and roll the cable up again. and put it in a bag. Being flat makes it easier i think. I had tried a wifi extender but there wasnlt anywhere i could plug it in that made it ay better. This was much the better solution!

Replacement For TP Link Powerline
I've been using TP Link powerline adapters the last few years, probably longer and recently just got fed up with the random internet disconnects despite trying all sorts of fixes including switching off power saving mode on the plugs via the software, creating a task scheduler ping, changing plug sockets...nope, still got disconnects.Decided I was going to buy a cable and run it out the front of the house all the way around the side of the house to the rear and in to my bedroom. 30m was just long enough !!Connected to my pc and ran the OOKLA speed test, went from 75Mbps using the TP link plug to 220Mbps using the cable, no brainer !!Took me about an hour to run the cable and clip it using the not very many clips you get with it. Holes were already in the walls from previous Sky installations etc so that saved some time.Great cable so far, not sure how long it will last outside but that we will have to wait and see.
