I have a pair of Dr Scholl nail clippers which I have been using for over 20 years and they are now a bit blunt so I decided to buy the Scholl nail clippers, hoping that they would be similar to the Dr Scholl ones and last me for at least 10 years. I have given them 4 starts as they feel sharp, strong and will last. However, I would hope that in 5+ years time, if I remember and they stay as they are now, they would get 5 starts.Contrary to those who found it difficult to take the white cover off, I found no difficulty and in putting the clippers back in it is essential that the handle is on the outside of the cover and fits in where to 2 notches are.

Terrible quality. They barely cut at all. I have a set that I bought 13 years ago that still cut better than these do. As a diabetic I have to look after my feet, and unfortunately the busy don't do the job.Not impressed in the slightest. Will not buy Scholl products ever again.

I’ve been using Scholl brand for years anmd they anre usually good quality clippers. My last pair of clippers were getting quite blunt so the obvious choice was to replace like for like. The plastic clippings cover was not as good quality as my previous set and trying to use the clippers with the clippings cover was very difficult and wasn’t managing to clip my nails correctly. I struggled terribly trying to get the cover off, and I’m fairly able bodied so someone with arthritis or issues with strength or grip will have serious difficulty. When I eventually got the cover off the clippers worked well, safe to say the cover won’t be put back on.

Last pair lasted over 25 yrs of family use.
