Clairol Nice'n Easy Tone+Gloss Semi Permanent Hair Dye - 537/78 Medium Golden Brown

Nice hair dye, no smelly amonia , covered the grey well. The color is darker than the shade I bought, light brown is more a mid-brown which is what I wanted anyway. The color doesn't t last too long in the summer you probably need to redo every 6 weeks. I'm happy with the color and the condition of my hair after using this dye I just wish the color lasted longer.

MUCH better than L’Oreal Casting colours. I used Amber which is gorgeous. The “Amber” shade in the L’Oréal Casting semi permanent dyed my hair medium brown!! This leaves hair super shiny and glossy and is easy to comb through for even colour whilst you’re dying your hair. It does come out quite a dark red but I know it will fade over time. I have long hair with bleached ends and defo needed two packs. Definitely using this again. The photo shows the colour after the First proper shampoo. Dump those Casting colours - this leaves hair softer and shinier.

So this semi- permanent dye is actually really good! Good points; The colour is lovely, darker than I thought it would be but still very nice with good coverage, I have longish but fine hair, and the whole bottle covered my entire head. After washing my hair 3/4 times the colour is still pretty much the same as the day it was dyed, so it seems to cling to the hair well and last nicely; longer than some permanent dyes I’ve tried before already.Bad points; after washing the dye off, my hair was a little bit dry, knotty and frizzy but manageable with products and styling so really wasn’t much of an issue for me, after about 3 washes my hair texture felt like it was back to normal.First picture is freshly dyed, second is after the first wash, third is today ( after 3/4 washes) and last is the before.

The formula/product and the packaging has changed all for the worse. Took ages to mix and then it dripped everywhere, washing it out took longer than usual and the conditioner even felt different. Result is darker than usual and very very dull! My hair looks so lacklustre and I think this new formula has irritated my scalp. Have used Clairol Nice and Easy for years and always loved the results. Will not be buying again. Read the reviews! They all say the same about new formula. Hair looks so dry.

Item arrived promptly which was great. I have mid brown hair with some greys and lighter ends. Was looking for grey coverage and something that worked with my natural tones and an ash colour rather than a coppery brunette. Oh my this product is sooo dark. My hair looks almost black and a very flat colour. To me it looks dyed and false not the natural lift I was looking for. Can’t wait for it to wash out and even my hair texture is weird like I’ve used black henna. Won’t be buying this again. Clairol ….you’ve got this wrong!

Great purchase easy to use and great colour

Really easy to use wasy application. No smell, little to no mess as applying.I used this to cover my mums hair which had grown about half way out so was half grey / white half blonde. This box covered all well and blended over the different tones without looking flat as it naturally looked lighter were the greys were but still covered them.
