Great game for family game night!
Got this game to play with family over the holidays after seeing it in a store in the UP of MI.Shipping: Game arrived much quicker than expected. (Shipped from Chicago and I am in Michigan) Unboxing: Upon opening the game you are greeted with 4 sets of trivia type cards, a set of custom made poker chips, 2 custom dice, a one minuite timer and some mini whiteboards with dry erase markers.Materials: The general construction of the game seems to be very thoughtful towards game play and very well made. The box itself is quite thick and not at all flimsy like a normal board game box. The trivia cards are made of high quality thick glossy card stock. The chips have custom amounts screen printed on them. The whiteboard markers have an eraser on the tip so you dont have to use your hands or a tissue. The plastic inlay that houses all of the pieces has a dual purpose with slots to prop up and hold the trivia cards while you play.Gameplay: The gameplay seems to be a cross between poker like betting and trivia. There are multiple gamemodes that are determined by a dice roll each round. The roll also picked the trivia category unless you rolled a you pick. There are 4 categories ranging from sports (jocks) to paparazzi to globetrotters (geography) to know-it-alls for those people that seem to know everything. The game is different than most in that you usually have to try and list as many answers you can in one minuite and there are sometimes 40+ awnsers to one question. The betting aspect adds a interesting twist to the game that helps move the game along but a wrong bet can have you hurting for money real badly. Betting carefully and smartly is very important in this game and a underdog can make a strategic play and come out on top in one or two rounds. As one of my friends found out you can easily bite off more then you can chew and have to scramble to win some chips back. One interesting aspect of this game is it helps to have a banker/facilitator this can be a player as well but it is better if it is not. This was nice because I had a friend that hated trivia and didnt want to play but was able to join in the fun as the banker/facilitator. The game allows for 6 players plus a facilitator but we were easily able to scale it up with the whole family by doing 6 teams of 2 each. Overall was a big hit with the family. There are also a ton of cards and each game only uses so many so you can play many many games without ever seeing all the questions. There are also many possible awnsers to each question so you wont necessarily remember them all. The way the game is set up would allow the creators to offer expansion packs to add topics to the game for a small fee that would allow it to be expanded for years to come.Overall: A high quality well made game that is great for a family game night or a night with friends. Would highly recommend!

Great Family Game
Bought this for NYE to play with my parents & in-laws - we had so much fun. Perfect for both the trivia junkie & poker player. There’s a wide variety of trivia questions (which all include the possible answers on the back & let you know how many answers there are before you start guessing). Some examples: Michael Jackson Billboard Hits, NFL football teams, countries that are only 4 letters long. I love that there’s a mix of stuff that you’d probably know and stuff that is more challenging. It was fun to see the random stuff that people in the room know. There’s something for everyone in this game. If you’re looking for something that’s both fun & challenging, but easy to learn how to play - try this game!!

An okay game, but what's with the smell?
The idea behind the game is good and I like that it is two player because sometimes we don't have a crowd. We are always looking for different game mechanics. The idea for this game is that you get a category and you have to decide based on the general category if you want to bet on your knowledge of that general category (it gets more specific - for example Atta Boy - narrows down to 20 most popular boys names in 2018). Gray Matters also makes A Game of Wolf (which is far superior to this game, in the opinion of my family. We are avid collectors.) Anyway, the game is okay. There are a lot of 2018 specific sports questions which we just bypassed. My only other problem is the smell. I don't know why but the game is scented with incense - like a heavy incense. Enough to give you a headache and it does not dissipate. I left it out and open overnight and it still smells. Not my favorite.

Fun party game
Fun party game! Easy to learn and combines the challenge of trivia with the risk taking of betting. Can be played either with or without teams, but it seems to work best with two or three teams really pushing each other on the bets.Due to the ease of learning the game it’s a great one when you only have a short time or are playing with a larger group.

Great game! Even better with friends!
I'm not one to normally write Amazon reviews but I felt compelled after playing this game! My first thought is "WOW!". This game is a great social atmosphere game. My friends and I love playing it for a game night in or while getting ready to go out. It's tough to describe beyond a mix of trivia (with a good range of topics) and poker. Trivia buffs will love this game. People who enjoy social games with friends will as well.

Fun!
Some of the categories were difficult for my upper teenage children but in all fairness I had trouble with more of the newer pop references. So with that said, I think there is something in the game for everyone. We enjoy it and it's fun to see the plethora of useless knowledge that each of us have.

Great game and for a great cause
Our family loves board games and poker. Once I saw this game, I knew we had to get it. And it did NOT disappoint. We LOVE You-Bet-Cha! Perfect for the family or a game night with friends. I highly recommend this product. Not to mention - a percentage of proceeds goes to Alzheimer’s Research. Great game and great cause!
