Perfect tuner
It's absolutely tiny, holds well to the headstock, Korg quality for a surprisingly low price. The display is incredibly easy to read and also very aesthetically pleasing with its red and green pulsing glow. The device glows increasingly green then flashes up a "Yup! perfect!" indicator when you hit the right note, and it is incredibly accurate - I've been using another headstock one for years, and an Android app, and both I seem to need to tweak afterwards whereas this is perfect first time.

Simple, robust, useful on-guitar tuner
A simple, unobtrusive, accurate clip-on tuner. I've bought one for each of my guitars and leave it clipped on the headstock all the time. As long as the removable watch battery has a good charge, the readout is bright, especially in dark venues. It dims as the battery begins to run down – and will eventually flash when it needs replacing. No complaints. I would certainly recommend for private or live/stage work.

Does the job, and does it well
Ordered this as an upgrade to a 4 year old amazon basics clip on tuner that refused to pick up the notes on my bass. This picks up the notes and, although the display is not crytal clear, it does what is intended and shows the note being played and whether you are sharp or flat. When you are spot on, you will notice 2 little red lights flicker either side of the letter corresponding to what note is being played. Reason i knocked a star off is because the display itself does not swivel when clipped onto the headstock of your instrument, it is on a hinge so you can only 'open' it. Not a dealbreaker or anything, just would have been nice to have that option. The beauty of it is tho, as it's a chromatic tuner, you can drop tune (DGCF etc.) and also check your intonation. What it does for the price is pretty good fair play.

Best tuner Ive used for a while
A lot of tuners don't pick up the e string on the bass. This one does. No issues with the product.

Decent tuning, loud noise
The tuner is easy and safe to install. It is very lightweight and it is reasonably well built, it does not feel cheap. The display is clear but not very flexible so there is only one decent way to attach it on the palette. The screen is quite large for the player (although partially covered by the palette) and a bit too bulky as seen from the audience side. It is stable but it vibrates a lot producing a disturbing buzzying sound. For the price it should be easier to hide, the noise is frankly a bit poor. The tuning is good for my ear.

The Tuner That Thinks It's Too Cool for You
Ah, the KORG PC-2 Pitchclip2. The tuner that arrived, slim and sleek, acting like it was too cool for all the other tuners in the studio. It clipped onto the guitar with that smug little look, ready to show off its ultra-modern design and flashy black finish. But you know what? It actually lives up to the hype. It’s small, I thought it would be more like one of those bulky gadgets, but no, it’s sleek, almost stealth-like. And the best part? It works fast. I’m tuning, and within seconds, I know exactly where I stand... no more fiddling with settings or waiting for a sluggish response. It’s sharp, it’s precise, and it doesn’t make a fuss. It just gets to work, and for that, I respect it.I admit, I didn’t expect much from something that looked so tiny and fashionable. But now? I can’t imagine tuning without it. If you want a tiny tuner that does its job and looks good doing it... hey, this one will do it. Just don’t expect it to offer you a cup of coffee while it’s at it. It’s too busy being effortlessly cool for that.

Easy tune
I saw this being used at a recent session of professionals. Simple to set up and use. Helps to keep your strings in tune! Clamps to the head of your guitar and is soft (I cannot see this causing any damage but would not leave it on all the time as it might damage the finish. I do not think this is for the guitarist who is jumping around - it would fall off). Will also allow for odd tunings as long as you know the open notes you want.Update Feb 2015- I am buying another (too lazy to move only one between my 11 guitars). I have seen others and I still think this is great value. Fast and accurate but will autotune guitars be the future? Well, not for vintage stuff!

An awful product from Korg
WHEN the tuner works, it is accurate and it is easy to read.... that's about as far as it goes, because it doesn't work! You buy a clip on tuner because you want to clip it on to your guitar, turn it on, and hit that string and have the tuner tell you if you're in tune or not. This product just simply does not do that! I put the battery in, turned it on, clipped it onto the headstock of my bass, gave my low E a good thump, aaaaand..... nothing. The red strobing light stayed where it was. Tried it on the other strings - nope, same. Tried moving it around the headstock - nope, same.BUT when I squeeze it REALLY tight together, and then play a note - it works fine. Now I'm a bass player, and we have more meaty forearms and fingers than our 6 stringed brethren, and when I mean I gave it a tight squeeze, I mean TIGHT - yes, it worked, but do you really want to do that on stage under the pressure of performing when you just need a quick reference check - nope! The thing is, I've got the pitchclip mk1 on another bass which is still going strong with the original battery from new about 3 years ago, so when I bought the upgraded version, I thought it would work straight away so I threw the packaging away. I would have returned it if it weren't for throwing it away!!So, my advice - don't buy this - save your money and buy a different one. I cant recommend another one (I'm going to try the snark one) but just don't waste your money on this!
