I bought this to help me train a 15 pound mutt. My dog responds well to the vibrations better than the beep sound. I do not think I will have to use the shock feature for our purposes. The unit itself is well made, and I like that it does not weigh much. Without the prong things, the collar is 2.36 ounces. And it might be silly, but i like that the remote control comes with a strap so I can hang the control at the front door between uses. One last thing...I am so glad I gave this a try before spending more money on the fancy name brands!

This is the best money ever spent! This is WAY underpriced. This collar works EXTREMELY well. Charge on collar lasts about two weeks. I removed the stun probes and only use the sound and sometimes buzzer. The collar is sturdy enough to attach a leash. I'm not kidding, this thing is awesome. The range is at least good enough for all the way down the street, maybe more. The remote goes to sleep automatically and wakes up when you press a button. (One tip is, when you turn on the remote, wait until the green light shows it sees the collar before you hit the button). Just get it. Pets Smart gets $150 for something like this, that isn't nearly this good. I would give it 6 stars if I could.

This unit is lightweight and works great. Havent tested the total limits of distance but line of sight doesnt seem to be a problem.The instructions indicate to turn off the receiver between uses but it goes into sleep mode (it beeps when turning on/off so to keep my dog from freaking i just leave the receiver “collar” turned on and it enters sleep mode - a button push, next walk, wakes it up/turns it on without a beep)Battery life is great.Only “issue” if one can even call it an issue, is the collar snap needs to be aligned perfectly straight to clip - kind of a duh thing to say, but its somewhat easy to not align straight - after a few times though its less of an issue as u get the feel for it.I think this is a pretty good value for all the functionality and after a few days of “training”, walks are like a team sport - Now if only this worked on cats …

I ordered 2 of these. Not together but 2 separate one for my female dog and one for my male. They each came in their box. They failed to put in a charger for my female collar. So I have to charge them one by one over hours 2 collars and 2 remotes. Some times it takes hours for one collar. Plus the prongs fall out easily. Having said that. I use them for barking control and it works well. I never have to go beyond the vibration. Which makes me very happy.

We LOVE this collar. It stays charged forever! The lock button on the remote allows me to not worry that I’m accidentally shocking my dog when not needed. The beep has worked so well for my 95 lbs female Doberman Pinscher. I’ve only used the shock feature once! The light on it allows me to see my girl way back at the end of our property too which is great when living in the country!Would absolutely buy again!

We got this for our dog who likes to bark at everything. The remote and collar comes connected so there’s no messing with that. The vibration is strong. The beep is loud. I tested the shock on my arm and at just one, it’s got a decent sting. It comes with two different size prongs and caps. None of it feels cheap or like it’s going to fall apart. We’ve only used it within about 30 yards but it’s worked great so far.

It’s a great product. I mainly use it for the vibration feature since it’s a lot cheaper than all of the fancy ones. I have used the shock, but only up to the level I could handle myself. It doesn’t hurt my dog.

This works.Young dog to two years old. Chaz learned the hard way only once to go to far from me during a hunt. Now, she's within 30 feet while hunting and doesn't stray at the camp sight. We've been practicing just the beeping.
