When I got this, I really didn’t expect much for the price and because it’s an unknown company and yet this lens auto focus was fantastic. It was fast. It was snappy. It was sharp and it was clear and the best thing of all, it’s a bargain at the price so if you can’t afford the native lenses pick this one up you will not be sorry.

I think this lens is really great value, especially in the L mount system where there are few affordable options. The image quality is comparable to sigma (first image is meike f1.8 vs. second image is sigma 50mm f2.8). If you don't mind a little bit of focus breathing you can save basically 3x the cost getting this lens and have budget for additional focal lengths since Meike offers other ones as well. 5/5 would recommend!

The media could not be loaded. This is a great budget lens for Lmount I was worried about the auto focus but after playing around with it, it’s actually good. Definitely will invest more into the system if they continue to provide quality budget lenses for l mount
