Excellent Alternative to Piggyback Cables
These are built like a tank and the connectors are nice and tight. I bought a new larger TV and my Swan speakers don’t have a sub out. So I was using a Radio Shack RCA piggyback cable to send the right and left audio to the speaker and my Klipsch sub. The new TV was so large it didn’t allow the piggyback cable to reach my speakers on the side. I was unsatisfied with the cheap looking piggyback cables that are for sale here and other places so I decided to put together my own higher quality solution. I bought 2 of these and 2 Kabeldirekt PRO RCA cables. I put one of these on the white and one on the red outputs from my TV and then connected the white end from the RCA cable to the white Audioquest adapter and the red cable from the same RCA cable to the red Audioquest adapter and repeated the process with the other RCA cable. I ran one cable to my sub input and one to my speaker input. These items coupled with the new cables made a huge improvement to the sound I was achieving compared to my cheap old piggyback cable. It was an expensive setup, but well worth the cost. The speakers are louder and clearer and the sub sounds a lot better. I’m really glad I put my money into this product as the other products similar to the Audioquest are cheaper, but have hit or miss reviews. TL:DR If you have a need for a piggyback cable buy these instead of buying a piggyback cable! Very high quality product that will improve your sound quality.

well made.
I wanted a well made, good sounding ( sonically transparent ) Y connector to drive two amps off my preamp. I've had experience with Audio Quest and Monster Cable products in the past and unlike the cheaper knock offs, these are well made and don't fall apart. So, even though they are on the pricey side they work well and that's the most important part. When a cheap part falls apart, well, that becomes very expensive since it all becomes trash.... but, with these Audio Quest pieces I'm quite sure they'll last for 30 years.

Pricey but Worth It!
I have this love and hate relationship with Audioquest products, but their quality is usually very good if you can stomach the higher price. I was trying to feed a line gain amplifier to overcome my Rotel 1512 sensitivity issues, and I needed two splitters to split right and center channels. These worked very well, and I don’t hear any difference in sound quality after adding these which was my ultimate goal. I probably could get a same results with much cheaper options, but I felt safer going with AQ after spending so much on the equipment. Thanks for reading and YMMV.

Don't degrade the sound
These RCA splitters are well made and do not degrade the audio signal. They are worth the cost in my opinion. I notice they are made in Taiwan and not China. I use them to connect my Denon DCD 1700 NE cd player to a Hi Rose RA280 Amp and a Schiit Jotunheim II headphone amp using Zu audio Mission II interconnects.

Great accesory for adding more functionality to your setup
Great accesory for doubling your signal, i.e. splitting the signal from a phono preamp to an integrated amp and to a headphone amp (if your integrated amp does not have headphone jack). It also works the other way around, as 2 inputs to 1 output. Nice!! It works beautifully with no perceived quality or volume loss. The build quality is very good, they feel solid and a bit heavier than expected

SUBWOOFER NIRVANA
THANKS TO THIS GREAT LITTLE ADAPTER I WAS ABLE TO ADD A THIRD SUB TO MY MUSIC ROOM. IT ADDED A NEW DIMENSION TO EVERYTHING FROM OLDIES TO CLASSICAL AND MY FAVORITE ZEN AND NEW AGE FAVORITES. I NEVER HAD ANY IDEA IT WOULD WORK SO WELL.

Love these!
Used this to split the left and right of a preamp to connect to 2 amps, one for a Left/Right, another to dual subs. Worked great!

An antenna for unwanted HF noise
I put these on the output of my phono preamp to split between my line preamp and an A/D converter. I immediately heard HF noise that sounded like cellular or WiFi data coming through my speakers. I even tested with the A/D cable removed (Phonostage -> AQ splitter -> BJC RCA cable -> Line Preamp). The noise was still there, which eliminates the secondary cable acting as an antenna. It's these splitters that are the culprit. Avoid these, especially if you're putting in front of a high gain device. Recommend using Audio Quest's Y splitter, they sound fantastic and don't introduce unwanted HF noise.

This AudioQuest adapter is ideal if you have two record players linked to same speakers with the same RCA lead. You put these adapters in the left and right inputs of the pre-amp and they are excellent. Please note you do need 2 adapters and I recommend putting something like a bit of card between the two adapters so they do not physically touch each other.
